So, I know that this is WAY late but I guess it is better late than never! I have recently been checking back in on what all the girls on here have been doing!

Our wedding day was beyond amazing and I actually had a hard time with it all being over! I had post-wedding depression I think...haha...I just consumed myself for a year and a half before the wedding with all the planning and when we got home from the honeymoon, it was all over and I didnt know what to do with myself!! I couldnt even watch a movie with a wedding in it without bawling my eyes out!:bbeek:

BUT, almost a year later I am getting better! We have been doing great, just focusing on getting out of school! I student teach this coming fall and graduate in December! WOOO HOOO!!!

Other than that nothing much has been going on, just trying to talk Charlie into having some babies!! I am making SLLLOOOWWW progress and got him to commit to "trying but not trying" at the end of the year...hahah we will see how that goes!

ohh yeah, about a week ago I chopped all my hair off!!! Those of you who were around when I got married know how long it was and now it is to my shoulders but I love it! Ohh duh you can see it in the pic below!

Well hopefully I will keep this up and I will be posting some pics of our new dog and random wedding pics that I love! OOHH by the way I JUST got my wedding pics back a month ago! Yes, 11 months after the fact!:icon_barbar:

i had a little bit of the same problem, and still do... i cant watch father of the bride etc etc.. it seems like i kept imagining and loving picturing exactly what i wanted for my wedding...at least before the wedding.. then after.. it was like, i dont know.. its just been sad for me... so i think its normal, and i get it.. but we are glad for you to be back on the boards.. so much here to offer other then "wedding"
glad to have you back.. cant wait to hear whats going on in your lives.

I am glad you came back! I have a feeling I'll be a little bit the same way after the wedding. The wedding planning is always on my mind, and it'll be weird to have it all done! I was even a little bummed after my bridal shower 'cause I was so excited for that and it flew by. I told my fiance I'd probably a little sad after the wedding, and he said he'd feel ecstatic (and I've done the majority of the planning, lol).

Looking forward to reading more of your after-wedding journal!

Glad to see you back! I get as involved as I can with my friends' weddings whenever I get a chance - it brings back memories!

Good luck with the 'trying but not trying'. Matt and I are sorta to that stage. We're careful on days when we have a zero balance in our bank account LOL! It's a cold reminder that no matter how badly we want kids, we have to be able to feed em hahaaa.

I can't believe it took SO LONG for you to get your pics!!! WTF! Are you going to post em up? Or did you and I just can't see em? My work blocked most photo sites (like photobucket, smugmug, etc), so I can't see most of the pics on this board :irked:

So in other news, we are getting a new puppy!! I am so excited! She is a little white Chihuahua, the breeder doesnt know if she is long haired or a short coat yet but she sure is adorable!! We already have one chihuahua, Tyson but we thought he needed a buddy!!

Ok, I know I am pathetic and I talk about my dogs all the time but for now they are my kids!! Since Charlie is making us wait to have babies, I am filling that void with my puppies!

So the lady that I am getting our puppy from just sent me another pic of our little puppy! She is sooo cute!! I cant wait!:chicken:

HAHAHAHA, it is funny you said that cause tonight we went and rented some movies and we have seen Beverly Hills Chihuahua, but we walked by the movie again and I was like "look, this is what our puppy will look like!!":)

SOOO I cant believe that it will be our one year anniversary in TWO days!! This year has flown by! I have heard people say that the first year is the hardest but our first year was amazing!!

Besides the constant battle about having babies things have gone just the way I wanted them too!! Charlie finally agreed to start trying for babies in December!! WOOP WOOP!!

Anyways, we will be going to St. Louis for our anniversary. We are going to go to the zoo and a cardinals game while we are up there. Nothing huge, just wanted to get away and relax! So I will try and put pics up of the trip when I get back!! :)

Ohh I forgot to mention that we have started bike riding!! This is kicking my butt!:bbeek:

We have this trail here that we can ride on and one way is about 4.5 miles. Well the other day charlie decided that we should ride that back and forth twice for a grand total of 18 miles!:huh: Needless to say I almost died and then slept for the rest of the day cause I was exhausted!

Yesterday we only rode it down and back but that is still 8 miles!! My body is too old for this..haha!:bbredface:

I cant believe that a year has gone by already! It went by SOO fast! We didnt do much on our anniversary for two reasons, we are broke and we are broke!! So we just decided to spend a couple days in St. Louis and that was good enough for us!

The weather while we were up there was AMAZING!! It was perfect 80 degree weather with a breeze everyday we were there! We couldnt have asked for anythhing better!

We left on Sunday, which was our actual anniversary day, and went to the St. Louis zoo. We got there as soon as it opened at 8 am, it was awesome cause the sun wasnt beating down on us and plus there was hardly anyone there!! After the zoo we went to the science musuem which was alot of fun too!!

At the musuem we built an arch, which wasnt easy!! Well I wanted out pic underneath it and Charlie took his first and then when I went to go take it I BARELY touched it and it all fell and this is what charlie captured!

The second day we were going to a Cardinals vs. Giants baseball game! I HATE the Cardinals, which is a rarity where I live! I am from Kansas City so I favor the Royals but everyone down here where I go to school LOVES the Cardinals...ugg! Well anyways Charlies fav. team is the Giants so he was happy we got to see them!!

My dad decided to drive down from Kansas City to see the game with us, which was nice since I havent see him in a while! It was a fun game since the Giants won 10 to ZIP!!!

AND there are pics in here of my new haircut!! It looks like a mess, but we walked about 12 blocks to get the game!

Then the last day we went to Grants farm and then it was off to pick up the little puppy!!!!

Here is us feeding the goats at Grants farm!! I tried to feed all of them, but Charlie on the other hand tried to boss all the little babies around and tried to get them to "sit still" and "be patient"...HAHAHA it was funny!!

Now here is the new little puppy!! She is SO cute! She has her little toe nails painted and everything!

We already have one Chihuahua but he is long haired and not the typical Chihuahua either. He is very mellow and very well behaved! Jewel on the other hand is a TRUE chihuahua, she is hyper, shakes a lot and is a turd!! But we love her all the same!!
