What size paper lantern?

I really need to get on the ball here and order the paper lanterns to decorate the tent with. We're doing additional lighting that won't require us to use the paper lanterns for light themselves. I don't want a mass of lanterns covering the tent, just some to accent.

I know there are several people that have used them at their own weddings. What size and how many do you think for our 30'x60' tent?

You might want to look at the pictures on this page (http://www.weddingbee.com/2009/03/16/tents-and-lanterns-and-layouts-oh-my/) of how 130 lanterns, mostly fourteen-inch, looked in a 40' x 120' tent. To get a similar density of coverage, you'd need about 50 lanterns in your space. Obviously, you could increase or decrease that number if you wanted a different level of coverage.
