Ok gals. Heres my sob story
My mother in law is a very nice lady and she trys to help.
BUT...shes very 'last minute' for everything and Im a month ahead planner..
She listens about as well as a man and just does things how she wants them done in the end.
She wants to do my hair for my wedd. granted she used to have a beauty shop...but i am scared to death that she will jack up my hair! lol
We're going to have a practice 'do' but then how do i tell her that i dont want her to do it if i dont like it?

u could say something like: "Oh FMIL, I was thinking about how lovely you did my hair but I really want the day to be as relaxing and stress-free for everyone as possible and so Ive decided to go to a salon so that you have time to get ready and celebrate the day with us and not have to worry about getting my hair done and get yourself ready at the same time...."
