I attended my brother's wedding this past weekend and had a shocking DJ experience. Boomin' Beats in the Wisconsin area played the WRONG first dance song! He announced the correct title but began playing another titled song. My brother and his bride danced through the song and didn't mention the mistake until after the wedding. Your first dance is something you're to remember, and to have the WRONG song. I felt it necessary to inform the DJ after the wedding. He was totally defensive and said that he had in fact not played the wrong song. A simple apology would have gone along way. After denying any wrong doing and reviewing the CD he made of the wedding he called my brother to say he had made a mistake.

In addition to the wrong song, the bride suddenly felt light headed right before DJ Brian Kelm was going to get the bouquet toss. My brother informed the DJ to which he indigntly replied in front of everyone "Well you should have told me sooner! What am I suppose to do?" In my conversation with him I mentioned this unprofessional outburst. Instead of an apology, he went on at length about how I did not understand how much planning went into preparing the evening's entertainment. He told me the bride and groom signed off on the scheduled events for the evening and they were set. I don't know about you but I am certain all weddings do not go as planned. You would want a DJ that can think on his feet instead of embarrassing the groom in front of all the guests.

If you are getting married in the Madison Wisconsin area, do not waste your money on Boomin' Beats. Brian Kelm from Boomin' Beats will not have my recommendations.
