PROMO POSTED IN WRONG FORUM/INAPPROPRIATE INTRODUCTION POST

This forum is for vendors to introduce themselves and share a little of what they do with us.

However, this is not the place for spammy promos! Vendors should be careful not to turn their intro into an advertisement/promo.

So no links, no "check out my website", no "ask me for a quote", no "we have great prices" or anything ... no promos of any kind allowed in this forum. We don't need to know what your background is or how much better you are than your competitors or any of that stuff either; there is a place for promos (that is not open to new members) but the intro forum is not it.

If your intro post does not come off like a sincere introduction, it will be edited or removed without notice.

We hope all vendors that come here actually want to be a part of our community and will respect it's rules.

It is a good idea for new users to familiarize themselves with the rules of the community and/or specific forums before they start posting ... especially when they want to promote something/share a website, post about a sell or trade or whatever.

Since we have had so much trouble with various types of spam lately, we have set a new rule that new members cannot post in the Announcements and Opportunities forum or any of it's sub-forums at all.

Once new members have posted in other areas a while and become a "Trusted member" showing that they want to be a part of the community, they will gain access to post in this forum.

So if any new member is found posting inappropriate topics elsewhere on the board they will be seen as a spammer trying to get around this rule. The posts in question will be removed and the user will be subject to removal from the community.
