If there's another thread like this feel free Bump it up, move this post and delete this thread.
We always show off our dresses but we never give much detail about them. So I thought it would be fun to give some information on them.
How about a picture or pictures of the dress, the designers name and the dresses name or style number...
Designer: Aurora D'Paradiso

I ordered from dress from Bridal Online Store (Style: Caroline (http://www.bridalonlinestore.com/Collection/product-page.asp?SKU=Caroline&i=45978964535)), but it was based on Maggie Sottero's "Topaz." I added the straps.
Full-length, although you can see more of the sash here (http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3449/3266084617_56e35c3e9e.jpg).

The corset back. You can see the beaded crystals in this shot, too.

The designer of my dress is David's Bridal.
The style number is file:///D:/DOCUME%7E1/RACHEL%7E1/LOCALS%7E1/Temp/moz-screenshot-2.jpg9N8579.
Here are some pics of my dress from my wedding. Note that the bustle style is a french bustle.

Mine was from the Pronovias La Sposa line, but I don't know the name or style number. It came from a second hand bridal shop so it was from a few seasons ago. A lot of their gowns have this lacy look.
The front -
http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e102/keelyhealthnut/011908200-150-1.jpg
Originally it had beautiful buttons all down the back, but the seamstress took them off to put in a corset so it would fit me...then it was too big. She almost ruined my dress, but it turned out okay!
The back, partially bustled -
http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e102/keelyhealthnut/011908200-22.jpg
You can see a little bit more of the detail in this picture. The material was gathered on my chest and the rest of the dress was lace.

Have not got my dress yet but I am looking at the Maggie Sottero, McCall Design and pretty positive I will go with it.. I have not seen anyone else use this dress so I like the uniqueness, tho I am sure someone has before lol.
I am getting cap straps put on, in the silky fabric that matches the bottom, I don't like the caps that they have in the pic..

I hope this doesn't come off as rude. But I was kind of hoping that we could keep this post solely for actual wedding dresses. Meaning that you've already purchased it and it's what your are wearing or did wear at your wedding.

I designed my own wedding gown. It's got a cream dupioni silk underskirt, and then a bronze/gold silk overskirt with a chapel length train (well, maybe a *tad* longer than chapel, by a foot or so). The overskirt is split in the front and gathered in box pleats in the center back. The bodice of the dress is also bronze dupioni silk and has gathered netting at the neckline that goes all the way around, secured at the shoulder (somehow, we're thinking matching fabric roses) and pinned at the center front with a gold and pearl brooch. The bodice has a hidden zipper in the back and has a scooped off-the-shoulder neckline, and comes to a center point front and back. It has lace, pearl, and iridescent embellishments, particularly on the skirts.
It has a matching top hat in bronze/cream silk with netting and lace decoration.
It's not quite done yet! Hence why there are no good pictures :) I suspect the 1st time I'll get pictures of the whole outfit will be on my wedding day!

Great thread idea, Threesia! :)
Mine was Hayden by Maggie Sottero in the gold color...
You can sort of see the top (which is the reason I fell in love with the dress) in this one.

Well, "not to be rude", but I don't see the difference as this is the dress I am getting! others might like it and I thought it can still give other new brides an idea of what else is out there, which is what I thought this thread was for.. so sorry I posted!

also Maybe you should specify that in the title of the thread or something if it's that big of a deal, such as who WAS the designer of your dress? (already wed only)!! Or post this topic in the Post-Wedding section!

I know there was no intended offense when she posted this thread. When she said "not to be rude" I know for a fact that she meant it! It wasn't clear from your original post that the dress you posted was for certain the one you were going with, and I think the intended purpose of the thread was to post "The One", whether or not the poster had already walked down the aisle in it or was still waiting to wear it. I think when she posted her response she feared that we might end up with a mixed bag thread - some "The One" dresses and some inspiration dresses or dresses people just like, some people trying to decide between a couple. I can assure you she wasn't trying to offend you.
If that's the dress you'll be wearing on your wedding day, it's beautiful and I can't wait to see pics of you in it!

Yes that is my "The one" dress FYI, which is why I posted it in this thread that is meant to show off your dress... and I did specify that this was the dress I intend to get and wear on my wedding day!!
Just because I have not purchased it yet, I do not appreciate people telling me I can not post about it on a thread that is meant for it. Or being told that my dress is not "the one".
I am sorry I found that very rude, like being told the dress I picked isn't a good choice for me or something, she never said in her original post that it was for only people already married! This is the dress I plan on wearing at my wedding!! I am sorry if you didn't understand me in some way because I said that I was planning on getting this dress and have not actually purchased it, or if your thread was created for another reason than I thought when it only states, "Who is the designer of your dress..." and than described as, post info about your dress for others..etc
I also did say that I am getting this dress, I did not post a bunch of "maybe" dresses, or "inspiration" dresses.. I posted 1, the One I want and plan to get, I don't see how 1 picture is a big deal when I clearly explained although I have not got it yet I am getting this one.

I think the confusion was because you said you were "looking at" the Maggie dress. Sometimes intentions aren't clear over an internet forum - she wasn't sure you understood her intention with the thread and you didn't understand that she didn't mean to be rude. It's one of those flaws with communicating in this manner.
Again, I'm certain there was no ill intent, nor was it intended to upset you or create a problem.
And she never said it was only for people already married, as I stated in my previous post.
Congrats on getting this dress. It is lovely. There was no intention by Threesia or anyone else to exclude you from posting your dress that you intend to wear. We're very happy to have you here and look forward to see more of your wedding planning.

Maybe you should specify that in the title of the thread or something if it's that big of a deal, such as who WAS the designer of your dress? (already wed only)!! Or post this topic in the Post-Wedding section!Well one could look at it as she did say "Who's the designer of your dress" To me this would insinuate one that is already purchased and already yours.
However, I can see how it might have still confused some people; maybe the OP could have been more clear.
I don't see anything wrong with your post.
Do you think maybe you have taken this too personally?
As Gwen said; I am sure the OP didn't mean any offense, maybe she didn't explain her OP right and maybe she didn't express her feelings about your post right either. But there is no need to make an issue of it.

I really think this is all a big misunderstanding and is becoming a bigger issue than it needs to be. For the sake of peace in the community, I would appreciate it to just stop here.
In the future if anyone has a problem with something or someone on the board, it would be best to just PM a moderator or email forum support about it rather than to start something on the board about it.

Thanks for the support on the dress, I am sorry about all the confusion I found that came off the wrong way when she said "Meaning that you've already purchased it and it's what your are wearing or did wear at your wedding." because I am planning on wearing it!
Here was my post.
"Have not got my dress yet but I am looking at the Maggie Sottero, McCall Design and pretty positive I will go with it.. I have not seen anyone else use this dress so I like the uniqueness, tho I am sure someone has before lol.

I did not think that I gave any doubts to getting this dress in my post. I just wrote how I feel about the dress, that I am positive I am getting this one. I did not post a bunch of different ones or say I will maybe get this one.. I thought it was clear but I am sorry for the misunderstandings! I do want this dress and I am going to be wearing it, I wanted to show it off to others who may like it because I found it to be a rare choice and had a lot of trouble finding the perfect dress which I have found in this one.

I want to apologize that I wasn't clear in either of my post. My second post wasn't at all directed at you personally. It was to make my OP more clear. It just happened to come after your post. I am so sorry that you thought I was attacking you. I love your dress and would have commented on it if I wasn't on my way out the door. My DH was waiting in the truck, he gets excited about fishing and I was making him late. Again I'm sorry.
As for why not both ... obviously I'm not the owner of the forum, there for I can't dictate anything. I was just hoping that we could gather details on every one's actual dresses. There are many post with inspiration pics and what not. But nothing that gives the details of the actual dresses people are wearing or at least not that I've seen.
I come here to hang out with people that I consider friends and hoping to make new friends. Not for drama or to make anyone feel bad.
This is the last comment/post I will make. I apologize again.

My beautiful dress that is currently hanging in my bedroom at my parents' that I cannot WAIT to wear in just 4 days (!!!!) is Maggie Sottero's Rhianna Royale in champagne and light gold. I hadn't seen it in any magazines and it didn't really grab my attention online, but the girls at the boutique brought it out for me to try and convinced me to just put it on once.. I put it on rather reluctantly thinking that I would hate it, but the minute it was on, I didn't want to take it off! :soppy:

Here is my girl. She is getting alterations as we speak. It is a Monique Luo Style CRL538. This wasn't one of the dresses I was planning on trying on, I just didn't like the look of it, the only reason I tried it on was because it it had a vintage look to it and I LOVE LOVE LOVE lace.
I don't have a picture of the dress on a model because my dress was discontinued. So here are pictures of the dress on me.

Mine is designed for a specific local shop. It's Jacquline, but not the Jacquline you find online. You can't find mine online. =( I don't have good pics of me in it yet, pictures don't do it justice! Here you go, though:

(I so look like a Bridezilla there, but I was just trying to explain the dress to my mom!)

(You can kind of see how FULL the dress is. VERY princess)

(GREAT beading detail! I've lost weight since then so the top was falling down the second time I tried it on. SCORE!)

(You sort of get an idea of the elaborate, LONG train!)

Jenny, your dress is sooooooo pretty!! :)
Thanks! :) I am SO in love with it. I didn't just see myself getting married in it, but saw myself marrying Peter in it. So hard to explain lol.
PS- Sorry the pics are HUGE. I tried resizing and it didn't work. :(
Love your dress Jenny! It reminds me a lot of my dress!

My dress was a David's Bridal. My MOH picked it out! I didn't like it on the models or on the hanger, but it really suited me in real life!
