Glad you finally got to talk to someone decent. See, you can be a competent doctor yet also compassionate, which I think some medical people forget. Things sound a lot better already. Hope things go OK Thursday.

Good luck Michele, I'm keeping you in my prayers. Your OB sound nasty and I'm so sorry to hear that she was so rude and heartless towards you & Chris. :( I am glad that the Women's Center treated you better. I really hope it was just a false positive and that your baby is just fine!

Good luck Michele. I'm sorry your OB was such a nasty cow, there is no excuse for her behaviour, sounds like she is missing a sensitivity chip. I'll be thinking of you all day, hoping for the best for you

Good luck tomorrow! I hope you get a lot of joy from finding the sex, and even more from finding out it was all a big false positive (will they know for sure if it was tomorrow?). I'm going to predict boy. We'll be thinking of you and your family.

We just got back... everything they could see looked really good but the baby wouldn't cooperate so they couldn't get the most important things they needed to see like the back of the brain, the heart and the stomach contense. Soooo.. we ended up having to do the amnio. They said we should know preliminary results in about 2 days but with that being Saturday I don't know if we will have to wait till Monday. We didn't get to know the sex but we will know for sure when they call with the results. One good thing that was very reasuring is that the baby did open and close it's hand which they said that 70% of babies with T-18 can't do! What's not so reasuring is that our odds are 1:16!?! That really scares me but with everything they did see looking really good I am holding faith and continuing to pray that this active little stubborn baby is just fine. I can just feel it! Well I need to go lay down, gotta lay low after the amnio.
Oh I hope you hear from them on Saturday instead of Monday! I'm glad to hear that baby opened and closed its hand!!!!!
dizy1j62881
06-10-2010, 02:08 PM
maybe she(baby) is being stubborn because she isn't giving up and doesn't want you too either, maybe she is already testing you and daddy....Stinks bout having to do the amino but like you said this way you'll know. But statics show that baby girls do better over all with issues than baby boys....at least that was what we were always told in the NICU

I'm so glad to hear that you've got some reassuring signs. I hope you'll get good news from the amnio in a few days!

Thank all of you for your well wishes and prayers. Please continue to pray for our precious gift. We both are praying along with all our family, friends and co-workers. We all have a very good feeling that everything is going to be just fine.:luxlove: I can't wait till Monday to know for sure and to FINALLY know the sex of this baby. Everyone keeps saying it's a girl because it's so subborn. LOL
I have been talking to some family memebers I haven't seen in a while and found out that a couple of them started out seeing this same doctor and had the same results with it being a false possitive and she was so rude about the results and everything. One of my cousins had the same exact results we did but told the doctor "well if it's true and my baby has it then I will face that when the baby is born" and the b!tch had the never to tell her she didn't care about her child's well being then! and another one of my cousin's well she's like a second cousin to me I think anyway she's a BIG girl.. she was like over 300 when she got pregnant a few years ago. Anyway she was seeing the doctor that is in the same office with mine and he was out of town so she had to see the b!tch... the B!tch doctor had the nerve to tell her "I don't think you fat people should be a loud to have babies" WTF!?! Why is this woman still a doctor she is soooo unethical! I was a little upset that no one had told us how much of a b!tch she was before we had to be faced with this news the way we were. Had I known I would have NEVER listened to my family doctor when she told me I would really like her and how nice she was.... Ummm.. no I don't like her and she's a rude a$$ b!tch.Thank you very much!
End Rant! sorry so long.

Wow. What a horrible doctor. She should have her license revoked. Part of being a doctor is bedside manner, comforting people, and being a rational unbiased professional. One day she's going to be sick and scared and I know she'd hope and expect more compassion and kindess than she's shown to you and the others she has seen.

I love your attitude. I still think I would call the state medical board on her. What she said to your cousin is discrimination big time!!! And there is the little matter of the oath she took.:urgh:
I will keep sending good thoughts and prayers your way.

Wow... this makes me sad, seeing that doctor get away with treating people like that. I sure hope that someone steps up to the plate and gets her butt outta there. I'm glad you're switching (you are, right??). I wouldn't want to deal with her stress during pregnancy!

Yay for the healthy baby boy news! I was right on the sex, woohoo! I should play the lotto tonight, hmm.
Matthew is a lovely name, and I bet your son is excited to have a little brother. As for Dr. Biddy, I think you should bring your healthy son in about a year from now and just wave him in her face. It'll be like that scene in Pretty Woman, except she doesn't work on commission and there are, thankfully, no prostitutes involved.

I got an appointment with a new OB that 5 different people including Pittsburgh Womans hospital recomended to me for July 7th. It means chaning hospitals too but the 2 she delivers at are the two best hospitals in the area. One is actually a top rated in the region for their NICU. And speaking from experience, delivering at a hospital where its a level 2 nicu and having a child that needs level 3 sucks. Didn't get to hold him or see him for 2 days. We already decided to deliver next time at NICU hospital...just in case, Once bitten twice shy
Congrats again on the little boy!! So its Matthew right?? Did I miss a middle name??

Yay, I am so glad to hear great news. I am kinda going through something similar to this right now. My sister is pregnant and just had a sexing scan done and they found cysts on the babys brain which can also indicate Trisomy 18, they are making her wait until 24 weeks to do her level 2 ultrasound. We are praying it will be negative just like your results.
Sorry didnt mean to highjack your thread.
Congratulations on the healthy baby boy.

I've had a bad cold since Wend night/Thursday morning. Cough was so bad Saturday I was throwing up from it, I was only at work for 2 hours. Woke up yesterday morning with a pain in my right side and across my lower back but I went to work beause I knew they were already short on help. By the time I got home it hurt to sit/stand/lay anything so at about 6pm Chris and I went to the ER only to be sent straight to labor and delivery. We spent 5 hours there monitoring Matthew's heart rate, my BP and my temp because I had a temp of 99.4 only to be sent home with a prescription for pheneigan to quiet my cough so I can sleep and told it was round ligament pain and Matthew was hanging out on that side. Got to watch the fireworks out my hospital window. Thank goodness I left Nicolas with my mom and she took him to see the fireworks.

Today was our first appointment with the new doctor. She was sooo nice and had such a great bedside manner!:luxlove: The nurse was kind of funny, when she asked why we were changing doctors in the middle of our pregnancy and we told her what happend with the old doc. she said "you are not the first ones to tell us about how rude she is, let me be a little unprofessional for a minute but she's a b*tch and had no right to treat you like that" Then when the doctor came in she said "I know you have been on a very bumpy journey so far, I hope we can fix that" Then we talked about doing a repeat c-section, she measured my belly and then listened to Matthew's heartbeat, it was in the 150's. This was the first appointment Nick got to go to and first time he's heard the heartbeat he said "WHAT THE!?!" when he heard it, it was sooo funny, the doctor just grinned and said "that's your little brother" Then on the way home he said "it sounded like an alien" :laugh2:

Well it was another fun day at L&D..... woke up this morning and when I was standing by my dresser to find a t-shirt to wear for work I suddenly felt something trickling down my leg!?! Scared the sh!t out of me so we went to the hospital to get checked. They did a non-stress test, internal exam and an u/s to check fluid levels. Luckily Matthew was just laying on my bladder and it was a slight leak and we are fine!!!:luxlove: They said my fluid level was at 16 which for this stage in pregnancy is right in the middle.... not too low and not too high. My mom wsa freaking out on me... "If this keeps up you're going to end up on bed rest before the end of the month. Then what are you going to do for money"

Heading out for our dotors appointment/glocouse test in about 20 minutes. Praying I pass the first time because I'm already nausious before drinking this stuff and I was aloud to eat there is no way I'll make it through the 3 hour lol
Matthew is getting more and more active! They aleady want me to start kick counts as of this week... everyone else I know didn't have to do it till 28 weeks though.

Good luck with your glucose test!! I felt fine when I drank mine but it made me sick later on in the day. Not something I wanted to repeat!
That's awesome that Matthew is so active! Katie started being crazy active right around 26-27 weeks and hasn't stopped. I'm assuming our little ones are only going to develop more energy as they get bigger

Back from the dr. glucouse wasn't too bad.. gagged a little bit but my stomach was already upset before I drank it.
Dr. said we're measuring right on track at 27(they may have changed my dd back to the 1st like they said at last appointment:confused:).. we've gained 8 lbs total so far.. BP was 130/78...heartrate was in the 140's as usual....we go back in 3 weeks and then we start every 2 weeks after that.

Chris and I bought our travel system today. Mom is giving me the run around about if she is giving me a shower or not, won't give me a straight answer. This little guy will be here in like 10 weeks and I want to be prepaired because you never know. I got home with it and my mother says "If you keep buying everything what is the point in having a shower?" :bang_head: UGHHHHHHHH well if you would stop playing games I'd stop buying things!?!
Congrats on getting your travel system!!! I hope your mom comes through for your shower. It never hurts to get extra baby stuff!

last night/Today has been one of the absolute worst of this whole pregnancy.. I have had a constant severe pain just below my breast bone and it goes around into my back and I haven't felt Matthew as much as usual.... Called the doctor because it even hurts to breath. They had us come in for an ultrasound, appointment and then they sent us for a NST to make sure I wasn't contracting. They think it's either a gastrointestinal thing or it could just be Matthew pushing all my organs up to which if that is the case I can not take this pain for another 10 weeks. Matthew is fine.. got an 8 out of 8 on his bio-physical profile and weighs about 2lbs 12oz. we got to see his face in 4D but his legs/foot were bocking over half of it. They took a urine sample and some other culters to send to the lab to make sure I don't have an infection or anything like that, that could be causing the abdominal pains. My BP was high so they want me to come back in on Monday for a recheck so they can stay on top of it if there starts to be an issue but she said it could just be because I'm in pain.

The pain is mostly directly in the middle, yesterday it hurt non-stop but this morning I was ok till I ate some dry crackers and tea and now it hurts again. They did ask me if I still had my gall bladder. Is there anything they can do while I am pregnant if it is my gall bladder? I'm supposed to go back in Monday for a BP check and will talk to them about it more if this doesn't ease up any.

My friend had hers removed when she was 32 weeks. But easy thing is to avoid greasy fatty foods. Drink tons of cranberry juice and water too...the cranberry helps everything move forward in your digestive system...Good luck hun I hope you feel better soon.

Went back to the dr for my BP re-check this morning.. She said it was normal @128/84. I had some blood in my urine, she said it could just be Matthew pushing on my uterus but they sent my urine out on Friday for a full urinealisis so if anything comes back abnormal they will know but not to worry she wasn't too concerned because the pain I was having Friday is gone now it just feels like pulled muscles. She asked me what I thought may have been the issue on Friday and I said maybe a Gall bladder attack she said it makes since that my muscles would feel sore if that were the case. I told her that I avoided fatty/ greasy foods all weekend and it didn't happen again. She said if it did they could do an u/s on my gall bladder and blood work to check. Matthew was being his usual stubborn self not letting her hear his heartbeat, either moving each time she got him or kicking the doppler.

Dr.'s office called on Tuesday... I infact have a bacterial infection and they think that is what was/is causing the pain. So they gave me antibiotics to take twice a day for 7 days and no intercourse for 9 days. When I go for my appointment the coming Wend. I now have to be there @ 7:30am..to start the 3 hour gloucose test, then they want another u/s @8am because the doctor didn't have a good enough picture of his heart and how the cord was attached, then I will have my regular appointment @ 9am. So it will be a long morning.
Wow... well I'm glad they were able to figure it out at least! Hope the infection clears up quickly on the meds!

Just got home from the hospital last night was in there from last Saturday (August 28th) I had pancreatitias. Worst pain and sickness ever!!! It was so hard because the OB doctors didn't know what to do because I had it and all the other doctors (GI,Surgon, infectious desease) didn't know how to treat me because I was pregnant. They ended up having to put me on straight IV's, I had to have a pain pump and a PICC line with the nutrition that Matthew and I needed, I couldn't ingest anything more than ice chips until Friday evening and then I was allowed a liquid diet and then Saturday they let me try some real food and as long as I could handle it and not get sick or anything I was allowed to come home on a 2000 caliorie diet, low in fat and carbs. My blood sugars were pretty good the whole time I was in there usually around 95-100. The only bad one I had was yesterday morning when I had a pancake and cereal, it was 182 so they had to give me 2 units of insulin. They gave me a meter and stuff to test 4 times a day at home. I didn't get to go to my class becasue I was in the hospital so I have to reschedual that still. They had me hooked up to the machine for contrations and movement the whole time I was in there to make sure that Matthew was ok and he did perfect the whole time actually, he loved to move so much he would move himiself off the monitor, the nurses were so frustrated with him.. they have all declared that when he is born they are forming a line to spank his little bottom LOL I am still REALLY sore and can barely walk, my stomach muscles feel as though I just had surgery or something, I'm on almost complete bedrest until the 13th (only allowed up to go to the restroom) to try to get everything completely healed.

Feeling a little better each day. Today was our regular schedualed app. w/ the OB. I lost a total of 10 lbs since I was there 2 weeks ago because of everything last week. They said not to worry about it and don't try gaining it back. my BP was a borderline high. Matthew is still doing great. We have to go back next week for a NST and another appointment to check my sugars. I get to try to go back to work on Monday and see how it goes, I really can't afford to be off already so I'm hoping I can at least do 4 hours on a lighter duty. I go tomorrow morning for the classes to learn what I should and shouldn't be eatting.
As long as nothing else goes wrong with my pancreatitis, blood preasure or diabeaties Matthew is schdualed to to be born Oct. 25th!!!!:confetti::confetti:

Today was our NST and appointment..... Matthew didn't do what they wanted for the NST so they had us stick around after our appointment for an ultrasound. Which of course I'm not going to complain about, since I got to see little man again. He's so chubby! The tec gave us some REALLY close up pictures of his face which kind of scared us because his left hand is by his face and it looks like his fingers are still webbed together but we have other pictures that show that they don't look that way!?! Doc said I'm still measuring "very good" I gained 1 lb back, said my sugars are looking good. Said not to worry about the NST sometimes the baby is just asleep and they can't get what they need, which I was happy about since the other doctor they showed it to wanted us to come back tomorrow for a repeat NST because they want a 20 point flucuation or something like that and he was only doing 5-10. I really didn't want to have to miss any more work, so I'm glad he said don't worry about that just come back next week. So we went from one 3 week appointment to, one 2 week appointment straight to every week!?!

Just got out of the hospital AGAIN! Woke up Tuesday morning in unbareable pain again. I tried to just stick to liquids to see if it would calm down but nope! I couldn't even keep water down so back to the hospital we went. They put me back on IV's and all that fun stuff, luckily we caught it at the early stages of a flare up with my pancreatitis. Matthew is fine, he's been a real little trooper in all of this, the morfine shots they gave me didn't even make his heartrate fluctuate or anything.

Thank you ladies.... yes if I have anymore issues with the pancreatitis they will take him so they can treat me the way they need to.
Today was our reg. OB appointment. My BP was a little high when I first got there as ususal but this time I had a reason I had a WIC appointment schedualed for 9:15... we got there early hoping they would take us in a little early because my dr. appointment was at 10. At 9:30 they still hadn't called me back so Chris went up to ask how much longer because I had a an appoinment I needed to get to. The lady got all snotty and said well if you have to leave we don't have any more appointments for 2 weeks and then says you should allow 1 hour for your appointments and we had someone schedualed to be here at 8:45. Ummm.. I gave you people 45 minutes and I only see you for like 5 minutes, not my fault if other people can't show up on time! So anyway like 5 minutes later they call me back and the whole reason they had me waiting was complete BS, it was to talk to the lady about breastfeeding and it says in my file I am bottle feeding!!!! So she says I'm so sorry we had you out there waiting for nothing you didn't even need to see me, I'll get you right over to the other lady to get your checks printed and get you out of here. So like I said I go over talk to the other lady, get my checks and my papers for the hospital and I'm on my merry little way and I left there at 9:45. Doctor's appointment went pretty good, I gained 8 oz. Matthew's heartrate was in the 140's with the dopler, she did my strep-b test and then because I have GD I have to have non-stress tests every appointment. Of course at first Matthew was giving the poor nurse a hard time and wouldn't stay on the monitor, then he went to sleep but thankfully he woke up and did what he needed to be doing right at the end when the nurse came back in to check and take us off. If he wouldn't have started moving and stuff we would of had to go get an u/s not that it would have been a bad thing. LOL When we go back next week we have our 36 week u/s, our appointment and then a NST.

Sunday is our "surprise" baby shower. I'm a little nervous because I don't like to be the center of attention for one and another everything I've heard they are having to eat.. I can't eat! Chris really wants to come for some reason, I keep telling him it's a bunch of women, what fun would that be for you.
I also realized today that I only have 16 days of word left before this little guy comes! It's bitter sweet because I will miss everyone and we found out today that our General Manager took another possition at another hotel, so when I come back from maternity leave there will be a new GM!?! I will miss our GM, she's been there for almost as long as I have and if you ever have an issue she's right there to take care of it for you, we all even have her home phone number if we ever need her night or day. She told me I better bring Matthew in to see her when he's born. Said she has to work Sunday but she will bring my gift on Saturday. I don't know how many of my co-workers will show up to my shower because our boss' (head-housekeeper) shower is also Sunday at the same time as mine at the hotel. She's not due till Nov. 19th but her sister is leaving to move back to Georgia the 17th of October.

My aunt who hosted the shower corcheted all the center pieces she made animals (monkey, pig, giraffe, dog, cat, bunny and an elephant) and she made a special little bear with a bottle and blankie wearing a diaper for Matthew. I was surprised there was about 25 people there. Today was our 36 week check up, u/s to check his growth and nst. He looks great! They said as of today he's about 6lbs 4 oz. heartrate was in the 140's and then during the nst he had a huge deceleration down to like 90 so they sent us to labor and delivery to have "more extentsive testing" which was about 45 minutes of being on their nst machine so they could watch him and he was fine. The doctor at the hospital said he probably rolled over onto his cord or grabbed ahold of his cord for a second. They do it all the time it just happend that they caught it on the machine so they had to make sure that's all it was and he wasn't in true distress or anything. I tell you what I can't wait till he's born I can't take much more of him scaring me from the inside.;):yesnod:

:realmad: vent!!!
So last night I found out my mom and dad decided since it's so close to Matthew coming that they are going to go away for the weekend to Buffalo and I have to pick up my nephew from day care tomorrow and then had a fit because my brother and his girlfriend both have to work Saturday and have no one to watch my nephew and I can't do it because I'm still trying my hardest to work. If they would have bothered to ask Chris would be more than happy to do it but instead we get, well I guess I'll just have to call off then! Uhhh yeah think about it people Matthew could really come at ANYTIME! So I say something to my mom about it being so close and all she can say is "well if you go into labor I guess they'll be screwed and have to figure out how they're going to get Nathan but if I don't cancel by 4pm tomorrow which is today they'll charge my card $150 so I'm going anyway." ummmm.. how about the fact that if I happen to go into labor I won't have anyone to take care of Nick!!!!!! I'd like to knock some sence into her right about now!! I'm going to call my aunt tonight and talk to her, see if God forbid I do go into labor if she will be able to come to the hospital to be with Nick while we're in the OR for my C-section. I can't believe how inconsiderate these people are being I mean hello, I can have this baby any day now and all you can think about is yourselves and your problems!?!

Ryan was born Feb 5, my last period when getting pregnant was May 5th. Carter was induced and I didn't have a period before getting pregnant so I don't know with him. So it is a possibility!

I've never posted here, but I do read up sometimes. It's so hard to keep up with all of these great journals!
First off, about the stress last week. BUT, he's going to be here so soon! You must be sooooo excited. :)

Matthew passed his nst this morning.. doctor checked for dialation and said "not much going on there" LOL listened to his heartbeat said it was good and strong.. felt my belly and said "we're getting big in there" WTH does that mean!?! Anyway we talked about Monday, she said we're schedualed early in the morning, Chris wants to be able to cut the cord so he has to remind her so she can cut it a little longer so he can. Ummmm.... as of today I've gained a total of 4 lbs from my very first appointment when we found out we were pregnant!!!!

Wow not too much longer. This will be your last weekend before he gets here. Good job on the weight gain. I remember you were really worried about that. You have done a great job!

Thank you. The pancreatitis helped with the weight gain though. I still did really good, I was only up about 8 lbs when I went to the hospital with that and by the time I went back to the doctor I was down 10 lbs. and now we're back up 4. Sooooooo after I have him they're pretty sure I'll probably weigh at least 10 -15lbs less than I did before I conceived:boggle:

ughhhhh... my stomach is sooooo sore and hard today. I got no sleep last night because no matter how I tried to lay it hurt and I was having contractions off and on. I don't know about going to work tomorrow for my last day before I have him, we have a full house tonight at the hotel. I don't think I can handle all that bending and pulling/pushing. COME ON MONDAY MORING!!!!!!

I went to work for 5 hours, came home got everything in the car for the morning, sterized bottles and now I'm trying to relax. Yeah right I can't sit still for 5 minutes I keep thinking of things I want to have done before we leave before the sun comes up. My mom is making up meals for the rest of the week so she can just come home get a quick bite, make sure my dad and Nick eat and then her and Nick can come to the hospital to see Matthew and I. Doctor said as long as everything is fine we should be home by Wendsday night or Thursday morning. I'm shooting for Thursday so Chris doesn't have to leave work to come get us. Everyone is trying to guess how big Matthew will be we have 6lbs 14oz to 8lbs 2oz. lol We'll see in about 15-16 hours:blink: Everything is making me cry today, from reading peoples posts on facebook to everyone at work wishing us luck and hugging us.

Thank you ladies. I can't sleep, got some massive heartburn right now and the excitement is killing me. One minute it feels like I've been pregnant forever and the next it feels like this is all happening so fast.
Ally I sure hope everything is progressing well for you right now and we'll both have a baby boy in our arms by 8-9am :yesnod:

Take a few moments and reflect on all you have gone through to get this healthy little one here, as you probably won't have time to do that again. This is the last night of just you and baby! Tomorrow your whole family dynamic is going to change :hearts:

Good luck today!! That is awesome your mom is making meals! They will come in so handy!! That is one of the best ideas ever and I really need to start doing that for pregnant people that I know! My SIL's church did that for us while the girls were in the NICU...it was so nice that I wished that I had planned ahead to have meals in the freezer when we brought the girls home - that's when we REALLY needed it!

We were released on Thursday at about 2:30pm. Things since we got out have been a little crazy. My doctor wanted at least one at home visit from a nurse and they decided they were going to show up at my door at 10:30 yesterday morning. The B with an itch said Matthew looked jaundice so she wanted to draw blood.. she took his little foot and pushed it all the way into his ankle and couldn't get him to bleed. I threw her out of my house and ended up spending 5 hours at the hosptial in the ER so they could try to draw the blood for it. I was in sooooo much pain from not being able to rest the way I needed to. We are filing a complaint against that wacko nurse. It took the lab tech and matter of 2 minutes to get the blood she needed only to find out that yes he is loosing weight which is normal but that his level had gone down not up and he wasn't even anywhere near the danger zone:realmad:
Anyway I can't get my camera to hock up to this ancient computer so I tried to snap a couple pics with my web cam this morning . He's hopin you can see them.

Anyway, he is just too cute. Thanks so much for the pictures!!

Awww, what a little cutie!!
Wow, I hope the hospital sends you a personal apology for her!
Oh wow what a hunk!! Your little man is adorable Michele!! I'm sorry to hear 'bout the nurse... I'd definitely be filing a complaint against her! OH that would make me mad!
Welcome home and congrats on your new addition!

The hospital appologised repeatedly and actually they didn't even want to draw his blood when we got there because they said it was too soon it didn't even need to be done till Monday at the earliest. In the end it put our minds at ease to know that even though he has offically lost a whole pound since birth that his level went from 9.9 on Thursday down to 9.1 on Friday so its going down he'll be just fine. They did tell us to start feeding him 1.5 -2oz. of formula every 2-3 hours and don't let him go more than 3 hours without eatting just to help him get rid of it even faster and for him to start gaining some weight back. He's so darn tiny all his clothes are too big!?!

I'm glad the hospital apoligized but I agree you should still file a complaint. She had no right to act like that!!!! I'm glad you are all home - Matthew is such a handsome little guy!!! Hopefully his levels keep going down and the jaundice gets better - and you get some stinkin sleep!!!!

UGHHHHHHHHHHHHH.... diapers are a pain in my arse! We finished using the pampers from the hospital tried to use the one pack of luvs we had and they were wayyyyy to big on him so we opened the Huggies that we have a TON of and now he's all red and pees through them and his clothes within an hour or so!?!!!!!!!

Gosh - I'm having a hard time getting Katie to give me a wet diaper, much less one she can pee through
I think the peing through them can mean they are still too big, or too small of diapers. I hope they end up working out for you!
Chele&Chris
11-01-2010, 01:35 PM
Sooo we went and bought a new pack of luvs today and they are smaller than the ones we had... apparently the pack we had were from like a few years ago or something they have Barney on them, the ones we got today have blue's clues and they are changing the design on them to a cute litle purple monkey... anyway they fit him sooo much better and he has yet to pee through one!!!!!!!!
On another note we had our well baby check up with the doctor this morning.. he checked out just fine other than he's down to 6lbs. 8oz. according to the intern but Chris and I both swear that scale said over 7lbs. Anyway we have to take him back on Thursday just for a weight check to see if he's gaining according to her scale. Every scale is different so that's why she wants to make sure he's reweighed on the same scale and HOPEFULLY he gains an oz or so and not loses anymore.:pray: We also had to take him to the ACL lab to have another bilirubin taken to make sure his levels are still going down or hopefully completely out of the high range. She also asked us what the Hell happened with the home care nurse the other day because when the hospital called her to ask what they wanted us to do the psycho lady told the hosptital that "the baby was completely yellow from head to toe including his eyes and that she feared for her life" Are you f'n kidding me!?! No one threatened her life but I very well could have!

Glad you found diapers that fit!
and that nurse geez i would definately complain!
:crossfingers: Hope his level keeps decreasing and his appetite and weight starts to increase!
