Groomsman Mug or Shot Glass? Need Ideas

Hello! We are going to get our five groomsman a bottle of their favorite alcohol (Crown Royal, Bushman's, etc). We also want to get them all either a heavy, nice mug engraged with their name and/or a heavy/nice shot glass. I'm going to Google and look around. Can anyone recommend some websites/places to get these? I think NICE shot glasses would be better since they are all getting alcohol, not beer, but NICE shot glasses are hard to find (so far).

Shot glasses should be cheaper, so that is the way I would go!

You know this is a task that can be left to your FH ;)

I don't know the best place to get them, but I definitely think the shot glasses are a great gift - especially if you're giving liquor with them! :)

I definetly think shot glasses are better..but I'm a bit biased since I collect them :)..The places that had ones I liked had a minimum order of 12 glasses though , but discountmugs.com had some nice ones...good luck!

Well, thanks for all the comments. I definitely think shot glasses it will be.

As for the personalized glasses on E-bay... the shipping on each glass is $12.95! Yikes!

And the colored glasses... I found those earlier and was in love with them... but besides the 12 quanitity minimum, you have to pay a $59 "setup" fee for each glass. Yikes!

So, I found these glasses for about $11 per guy...

Those are nice Kay.

I saw the ones on ebay and although the shipping was $15 the actual cost of the shot glass was less then $2 so obviously the shipping is how they are making their money.

I don't remember having to pay that much for the one I ordered, but it has been a while and I didn't look at the prices before I posted, sorry.

The ones you found look nice and the price sounds reasonable :)

My FH got mugs for his GMs and BM. He got each a mug with their favorite sports team on it and the back had engraved "NAME" Groomsman or Best Man 2009

I think each was like $20.. a little pricy, but we dont have a large bridal party to begin with.

I like everyone's ideas so thanks a lot! We decided to go with the shot glasses. I think I was looking at the wrong E-bay link for the other shot glasses ~ the link I found was $29.95 for 5 glasses plus the shipping. Anyway, thanks for all the opinions and suggestions~ we decided to go with shot glasses and I'm glad I found these! :)

I have a couple of Shot Glasses like those. Ours have the AC/DC Logo on the front. They are a really nice chunky glass. Good choice. :)
