I know today I might sound a bit whiney. I have whined about my brother and now I have more to whine about. I hope you'll forgive me. As most of you may know, I have 2 cats, Blaze and Tiger Lilly. They are outside cats, but they come in to visit when Justin is not around. I have had these two cats since they were about a day old. I brought them home and bottle fed them. They were so small I fed them with a syringe at first. I was going to find them another home when they were old enough to eat solid food since Justin hates cats, but I fell in love with them. I have always loved cats and have had them all my life.

My female kittie, Tiger Lilly, is missing. She is spayed, so I know she is not running off after male cats. I saw her last Saturday night. Yesterday I did not worry to much because the lawn people came and they usually hide in garage when they come. This morning I went out to garage to bring them inside. I knew they would be in there because it was raining. Blaze was there, but Lilly was not. I drove around the area to make sure she had not gotten on the road and gotten run over, but I did not see her. I am going to go walk around the church and see if I can maybe find her. I would like to know what happened. Maybe a family picked her up at the church behind our house and thought she was a stray. She is very friendly, she would probably go up to them. I have been upset all morning. It is after 1:00 and I just now took a shower and got dressed because I am so upset. I guess it would be better for a family to take her than for her to get lost or run over. But then I would never know and what if they didn't take care of her. I am off now to go see if I might be able to find her. I really need to know.

I hope you find her too; but, if you don't, I believe that someone found her and they are taking care of her. I will never believe any different. Good luck, Kacie!!!

Awww yeah, good luck finding her. This may seem obvious, but try the local animal control. I used to volunteer there, and found that a lot of the time people (at least here) don't realise the pound found their pets.

OMG!! I totally know what you are going through!! The unknown sucks...my Shimmy ran away once the Jerk!! She was gone for about a week...then one day I was crying looking out the window and I noticed a big black ball of fur running and it was her...the Jerk!

Just keep looking for her...she is out there somewhere. She is probably having the time of her life running around feeling free not realizing her mom is sick to death...like Shimmy the Jerk!!

I will be hoping all day that you find her...

Ive had spayed females just go wandering. They would be gone anywhere from just a day to a whole week. Im sure she will turn up.
In the meantime, I agree....try animal control. But you can also make posters with her pic on them and hopefully if someone did find her and thought she was a stray, they will see the posters and know that shes not.

I just walked around with my dog and we did not see her anywhere. I was hoping maybe Sadie would smell or something. They are the best of friends. I am going to call animal control. I am also going to make posters. I need to tell my mom. She just loves my cats and helped me with them when I was bottle feeding them last year. My brother helped out too. They are both going to be pretty upset about it. Hopefully she'll turn up.

One more thing. What also scares me is they way some people treat cats. I don't know why some people are so mean to cats in particular. Lilly is one of the sweetest cats I've ever been around. She's so gentle, I guess because she was a bottle fed baby. She would go up to anybody. We had a cat one time wander up when I was a little kid that had oil poured all over him. We cleaned him up and kept him for another 10 years until he died.

They do it because they are cruel people. That's the only reason. She is ok, Kacie, and she is going to come back. It took a week for Amber to get Shimmy back, and she was ok. I little bit worn out, but ok. :)

Well I have an update, still no Tiger Lilly. My mom came over and we looked for her some more. When Justin came home he went to all the neighbors and the firework stand across the street to ask if they've seen her. I felt really good that he did this. He does not even like cats, but he did it for me. I have flyers posted so maybe someone will call. I just really wish she would come home.
