My costum made gown

I went to a seamstress and we discussed so much about the gown I want. I gave her the design for the dress I want. Yes I designed my gown! and she called some days later. for the one shoulder (flower featuring) and for the skirt it was like cantabe from cymbeline

The bodice will be from taffeta and it will feature a flower on the side of the waist.

I am thinking about ruched waist (spell check please) gathered fabric you know?

how much is the seamstress charging for a custom made dress?

I came upon this site chicgown that make custom wedding dresses too.

I can't make up my mind whether i should do a custom or off-the-rack.
