Yay for Onewed, getting all that exposure.
I have to quibble with the article's assumption that pin-up/boudoir/racy/honeymoon photography is a new trend. In point of fact, that kind of photography has been around almost as soon as the art was invented. I personally have seen a number of daugerrotypes (man, I can never spell that word!) from New York and Paris from the 1890's or thereabouts. And pictures of brides in lingerie have been around at least that long as well.
I will admit, that in the 1930's, pretty much up until Playboy, the trend expanded from hush-hush, done totally in secret one or two prints to the classic pin-up girl. And beyond, and now seems to be returning to its origins.
Personally I find it interesting that the classic pin-up has come and gone, but boudoir photos -- the old, closed studio one or two pose classic shots -- are returning.
I wanted to get a set of photos as a classic pinup, but there's only one studio in town that does it, and their package (for 2 outfits and 2 8x10's, along with makeup and hair) is $225, which is a bit too rich for my budget right now. Perhaps for our 1st anniversary . . .

i thought about bed-pix...and i'm doing them here at home, with my girlfriend lol.....with both our boys being gone alot, we thought it'd give them an added visual "bonus" to whats at home ;)
as for OW in the NYT how FANTASTIC! and i agree with WW, since when is this a "new trend"?
helloooooooo, the original porn was boudoir photographs(aside from sears catalogs hahahaha).....
just because a pro doesnt take the pics, doesnt mean i don't have a password encrypted file on my desktop, with about 50 different naughty pics of my own...:innocent:
as for comfort, like one bride had stated, she's right---if you're not comfortable, it's not right...
but congrats to OW---publicity rox!!!

Coolio; yay OneWed :ura1:
I have to quibble with the article's assumption that pin-up/boudoir/racy/honeymoon photography is a new trend.
I think the point being made is that it is becoming more mainstream and more popular among brides these days ;)
That is so awesome!! I love seeing OW in the press!
