My soon to be inlaws actually moved up to there cottage just as my fiancee and I got together. We don't see them much and truthfully we haven't had much time to spend together no do they know me quite well because they are 4 hours away!
Next month I'm going to take my Mommy up with me to meet them. It's SCARY!!!!!!!!!!
I'm really not sure how they feel about me. I lvoe there little boy VERY much, however because they don't know me aswell as they could they have little to know reason to know this or see this.

Just be yourself around them. Make sure you are pleasant and polite. I'm sure having your mother around to meet them will help you along. I'm sure everything will be just fine. Good luck.

I knew my hubby for 5 years before we got married and i only met his Mom and sisters 5 months before the wedding and then Thanksgiving before our wedding in December. Look at it this way. If you don't get along very well you don't have to see them much. You'll be fine.
