Have ya'll seen the previews for the new Reality Wedding Show that starts soon on the CW Network?

”Hitched or Ditched (http://www.cwtv.com/shows/hitched-or-ditched)” is a one-hour reality show in which couples in long-term relationships are challenged by a friend to set a wedding date in a week’s time. The couples not only have to plan their wedding in seven days, but they also have to address whatever issues were keeping them from making the leap into marriage—from fixing relationships with future in-laws to dealing with feelings of jealousy. When the wedding day comes, the couples will have to choose whether to tie the knot or call everything off. So if they decide to get married, then their prize is a free wedding, but if they decide not to get married, then they breakup and have to deal with the ensuing heartache. That sounds a little unfair. But I guess if they know the marriage won’t work, then they’ll be better off in the long run. Will you watch “Hitched or Ditched” when it premieres May 26?

So, will you watch? I probably will watch at least the first episode. I can't imagine being forced to plan a wedding in 7 days then having to break up if we didn't go through with it. What about you?

I think it's one of the stupidest things that I have ever heard... but I will probably tune in to watch it anyway.

It's stupid but then again if you both want to be married but not to each other then what are you wasting your time for?

I saw one episode where the chick was ditched at the altar. I think it was a terrible way to decide your future with the one you love. Then again, I didn't think those two needed to be married anyway when they let their family decide their future for them :snide:

I thought the show was stupid. I wouldn't even attempt to get married unless I was 100% sure that it was what both of us wanted. Not because we're on a show that is making us decide at the altar. What stupid concept!!
