So I have a rather large wart on my ring finger. It is quite embarrassing considering everyone wants to grab my hand to see my new accessory. Any good tips for fast wart removals??

They have little kits in pharmacies where you can freeze them off with a little wand thing, like this:

Or, I've heard putting a little piece of tape over it so it can't breathe will kill it off as well.
Hope that helps!

Both of what Tara said I know helps. The freezing I did for a wart on my wrist, although I have to say, after the recommended application didn't work, I froze the heck out of it and it finally went away. Not that I'm recommending it, I'm just saying :)
FH's little brother had a wart on his finger, put duct tape around it, and sure enough, it went away!
You could also go to the doctor and have them remove it for a quick remedy.

Thanks ladies! I have tried the freeze things before but not had the best luck. I also had done tape so I know that works, but I was trying to avoid that since everyone will be seeing my hand. I wish I had known about the proposal beforehand and I would have taken care of it! haha...
I guess I will call my doctor and see what he suggests.

I had the plague of warts for a good 2-3 years. I received them from a nail salon that didn't disinfect their tools properly. I bought everything from the stores and nothing worked. So I had to see the dermatologist about them. They gave me 'south african/american blister bug juice' Yeah, I know, it sounds gross. But it worked and I no longer have them!
So worst case scenario, go see your derm and ask about the blister bug juice.

My sister had bad ones that wouldnt be killed. she froze them, got the injected by doctor, cut off, used Wartkill solution. nothing worked.
In the end my uncle put battery acid on them. it wont burn your skin so long as its only on the wart. that worked.
*I wouldnt actually recommend doing this*

I had a wart on my foot once when I was 10. I remember that my mom took me to the dermotologist and he froze it off.

I got warts on my hand and arm from bussing tables at my old restaurant job. They were so embarrassing and I couldn't get rid of them! I used the Wartner Freeze stuff from the pharmacy and they ended up burning the skin around the wart so bad it looked like I had cigarette burns all over my arms. It turned out to be way more embarrassing than just the warts!
I would recommend seeing the doc and going over your options. Since your wart is in such a visible location and you will want to be showing off your finger, the doc can probably offer better options than anything over the counter!
Good luck!!!
I used the walmart brand wart remover - it's a liquid, you dab it on and let it dry, then peel it off. I did this 2-4 times a day for about a month and it worked for me.
Good luck!

Wow, I never heard of the duct tape thing, I guess you can use it for anything! :)
