For all the married brides, did you eat breakfast before your wedding; and, if so, what?

For non-married brides, do you have any plans yet for breakfast the morning of your wedding? Do you think you could eat?

I didn't think I was going to be able to. But that morning, I got up, went down to the lobby to post on here and had an insane craving for oatmeal...call it a comfort food. So I woke my mother up and we headed downstairs. I treated her to the light version of the continental breakfast and I had oatmeal with brown sugar and some strawberries. It was very refreshing and got my day started very well! My sister also came down and joined us and as we were finishing up, one of my best friends came down as well (the guy who caught the garter) and we all sat and talked for a little bit. I really enjoyed it because it helped relax me. It wasn't that I was nervous, but my mind was going about a mile a minute and this slowed it down for me!

Ya know, I don't think I ate much that morning (well, I didn't get up until like noon ;)) I got up, showered, and went to get my hair done. When I got back it seemed I barley had time to finish getting ready before our parents got there.

Honestly, I don't know if I will be able to eat breakfast that morning. I will probably try to put down some yogurt, but I can't promise anything!! However, I'll let you know when I get back! I can't believe I only have 19 more days!

I'm not normally a big breakfast eater to begining with. Most days I either have a bagel of a plan waffle. I will most likely just do the same on the wedding day. I will have to eat something, or I will go insane with hungry until I get to eat my meal (dinner will be served around 330 or 4, the wedding is at 1.)

Here's what I ingested the morning before our wedding:

-(2) Day quil cold pills
-(2) Advil
-a large coffee
-a blueberry cream cheese danish

And it was yummy! I was not nervous at all so it didn't matter to me, I probably would have ate more if given the chance.

Matt says he had toast with jam...it was free at the hotel he stayed at the night before.

I had gotten up aorund 9 amd had to bein the next town by 10. I dont normaly eat first thing in the morning any ways. I end up hungry later in the morning so I need a snack before lunch. It wasnt untill I was in the chair getting my hair done at 1 that I realized that I hadnt eaten. Ask Lizabeth. I wonder what she though tof me that day lol. I grabbed a bag of chips but only got a couple of them down before I was at the hall and getting ready.

I dunno if I will eat or not. Usually on any day where I have plans, I don't get around to eating breakfast, but maybe. I will probably have a snack in the early afternoon or something!!!

I am staying the night with parents in their cabin and there will be a huge free buffet for us because when you rent a 3 room cabin it is free. A horse drawn carriage comes to pick up and everything. I am going to go, but I do not know if I will be to excited to eat or not.

I'm pretty sure I did not eat anything! I was going crazy trying to get all my stuff ready and hurry my sister(maid of honor) up! She was doing her nails the day of my wedding and I walked in there and hurried her and the SLOW lady doing it up! LOL

I didn't have time for breakfast. I had a million things to do to get out the door. But after my bm's, mom, and I got our hair done we all stopped for a big lunch on our way to the church. I ate like a pig because I know that if I let my blood sugar drop I get really mean. I didn't want the wrath of a hungry Lacey coming down on my wedding guests. I know that Sean and his brother in law also stopped and ate somethng on their way to the church.

I had breakfast the morning of my wedding. I wasn't nervous or anything. Plus i knew if i didn't eat i would have problems later with my blood sugar dropping too low.
I had a cinnabon (which my mom made for everyone) and a small bowl of yogart and granola cereal. I also had lunch that day too. We had turkey sandwhiches on croisont buns. They were soooo yummy!

I was hungry and it was going to be a long day so I had toast with vegemite on it. My bridesmaid took a photo to prove that I ate too.

It is funny that you mention vegemite. My friend from Austraila brings some with her every time she comes over. So she can still have it when she wants as we dont have it here. The first ime she brough tit over I tried it, yes I tried it. I did not swallow it tough, there was no way I could. I had a few freinds from Australia and they always talked about it but I could not imagine what it was because when they would describe it it sounded awful.

The only thing I could find that she had never tried was Fluff. She tired it. She didnt realy care for it but took some home for her family to try. Also they dont have cool aid. And I guess what they do have is nothing like our cool aid. I think she calls it cordule or something like that.

Sorry I went way off subject here but I just had to. Dont hit me with the chair I am sorry lol.

It's a yeast-based paste thing. An Aussie friend of mine got me to buy some a while back. It's thick (very thick) and black and tastes absolutely terrible to anyone who wasn't born and raised Australian.

You can buy a small jar of it at most grocery stores. If you're daring, try some: make toast, put a lot of butter on the toast and a tinnnnnny little layer of vegemite. It gets easier to eat the more you have it.

This sounds similar to some c r a p my german inlaws (and my hubby) eat all the time. Except it isn't black but it still tastes like poop!! lol
