DH and I are approx 9 mos apart. He is currently 33, I will be 33 in November.

In both my and DH's families it seems to be the trend for the wife to be older. My mom is 14 mo. older then my dad. I'm 14 mo. older then Mark. Marks mom is older then his dad. His older sister is 8 mo. older then her DH and his younger sister is older then her BF by 2 years.

Age doesen't really matter so much when you get older. I think now if i was 24 and DH was 20 it would be weird. But for me to be 44 and DH to be 40 wouldn't be so weird. Mark's mom is almost 6 years younger then Mark's step dad.
