I've found so much time

I can't believe how much I've gotten done in the last week since everything calmed down from the wedding.

I started spring cleaning my house and I've already finished two bedrooms and the bathroom.

I can see the futon in my sun room again because most of the wedding stuff is gone!

I planted all of my flowers in the front yard on Sunday.

I've decided to give the hallway a fresh coat of paint since the rest of the house has been newly painted in the last three years, but we never bothered to repaint the cream walls in the hallway. DH wants me to keep the cream, but I want something a little more exciting.

I have 6 boxes of things ready and marked for a garage sale the last weekend of the month.

I made DH and my son dinner last night for the first time in weeks.

I started planning an 80th birthday party for DH's grandmother. We are going to rent a room at a local historical house and have a tea party!

And...DH is taking me to see James Taylor tonight!! He always buys me tickets to a concert for Valentine's Day, so tonight we will have our first date as married people!

I wondered what I was going to do with myself when I wasn't planning a wedding, and now I know. I feel so accomplished.

That sounds great! Sometimes getting down and doing the small things can make you feel so good. I know after a particular stressful and busy week, I just want to sit home and take care of my own.

I can't believe how much more energy I seem to have after getting the weight of the wedding off my shoulders, I seem to be getting so much more accomplished!

I've been flitting around like a loony since 1PM this afternoon. (It's now 10.38PM)

The Agency We rent our house through is coming round tomorrow for the three month inspection. They like to make sure We haven't painted everything Day-Glow Yellow or knocked walls down lol.

I had a Dolls House "Shop" in bits all over the Lounge. Boxes on the Landing to go into the Attic. Then DH decided tonight was a good time to build a Dolls House Himself. So there was bits of wood and sawdust everywhere.
He cut the basic shape and then fell asleep on the sofa. Leaving Me to do the rest. :whyme:

I'm just waiting for Him to wake up and help Me move the "Shop" i finally put together. I swear blind it weighs more than Me. :bbeek:
