I’m officially starting an after wedding journal! I never really kept up my wedding planning journal, but I’ll try to do better with this one!

Since the wedding two months ago (seems like so much longer than that!), we have decided to go off the pill. I’ve been off now for exactly one month. I’ve always had issues with my period, and since going off Depo about 4 years ago (I was on it for 5 years) I have not had a period. I get some of the symptoms, like the cramps and bloating, but I never actually get any bleeding. I thought nothing of it until we decided to try for a baby, and have recently discovered that I have all the signs and symptoms of endometriosis. I’ve been to the doctor for testing, and am now waiting for a gyno to call me. My doctor sent in a referral about two weeks ago. I should be waiting 3-4 months to hear from them.

So, until then, we’re just trying and letting nature take its course. I am curious if I’m even ovulating, but have no way of finding that out until I can find a way to buy some OPK’s online without using a credit card (mine is maxed), as the store bought ones are just too expensive! I can’t temp & chart, as you need to start that at the beginning of a cycle, and I have no clue when mine starts… It’s pretty confusing, and it makes me angry & sad some days, but I’m trying to be positive about it and patient, until we find out what is going on.

So, I guess I‘m technically making this a TTC journal, since the rest of our lives are fairly boring.

For those of you who don’t know me, DH (James) has a son from a previous relationship, and he lives with us full time. He’s 7.

Just wanted to say Good Luck! Hopefully once you get into the OBGYN, you can figure out what is going on with your cycles. I did Depo for awhile and I always thought that not having a period while you were taking it couldn't be that healthy. I hope that everything gets figured out for you guys and you can make Mason a big brother!

Hey everyone!

No updates yet. Still no call from the gyno. I think it’s only been about a month and a half since the referral got sent in, so it’s too soon to call and complain. :)

Since I last posted, I have gotten AF on my own. I didn’t take the BCP that the doc prescribed; I thought it was redundant. So I waited, and it came! It was light, and only two days plus a day of spotting, but it’s something! After 7 years, I finally got it!!

So I started temping right away. My chart looks kinda funny right now, I can’t see any particular patterns. But I guess it’ll take a few cycles to be able to read it properly. According to Fertility Friend, my next forecasted period starts June 10th… so we’ll see.

Congratulations on AF! You're a big girl now! LOL.

When I charted, they didn't look like much either. Lots of peaks and valleys, until I was prescribed Clomid. Then they started looking like they were supposed to!
