I have been looking for a small buffet for my dinning room since I moved into my house. I wanted something small because I didn't want it to over power the room. But I want also looking for something modern. I have found a few things I like but everything was $200+ and I didn't want to spend that much. So I was on craigslist one day and found this perfect buffet for only $20, it has some scratches and some dings and wasn't the color of my dinning room furniture but I saw potential and it was only $20.
So it went from this:

Looks amazing. My FMIL always does things such as paints things to make them fit. It's cheap and looks amazing!! Congrats on the great find.
Wow, it looks great! It completely changed the look of it. Good job!

Bargain of the week :ura1:
It looks great before. Looks fantastic now.
I have one of those butterfly tables. The two ends flap down and cover four chairs folded inside. At the moment it is dark wood. But the rest of our Lounge furniture is in Beech.
As soon as i finish My new Dolls House Shop. I plan on sanding and stripping the table back and painting it to blend in better with the rest of the decor.
Like You, i couldn't resist a bargain. It was only £15 on eBay. I use it to build Dolls Houses on. It's now covered in knife marks where DH was cutting board to make 1/12th roof tiles. Plus splashes of paint, varnish and wallpaper paste. It's looking a big dog-eared. But seeing what You have done has given Me inspiration. :)

You did a great job! It looks expensive! What did you use, did you sand and primer the whole thing?
I just finally got to see these pics... that looks GREAT Danielle!!!!! Good job!

It looks wonderful! It was a great find, but I think what really makes it pop is the fantastic refinishing work you did on it. Looks brand new. :)

Thank you. I actually didn't need to sand most of it because it was mostly a wood veneer. Not real wood. The door and drawer was real wood though. So after I painted it I went back with a hard bristle brush to create a wood grain.
