Hi everyone! I've enjoyed reading your stories, so I'd like to share my own. :)
My name is Anna, and his name is Mike. I'm 24, and he's 25. We met on myspace in September 2007 and went on our first date a week later. I had an amazing time, and that night we decided to become girlfriend/boyfriend!
Around November 2008 we started talking about the future. By late December I knew he had a ring, but I didn't know when he would propose. Before the New Year he asked me if I'd like like to stay at a romantic inn for Valentine's Day weekend. I happily agreed, and we booked a room with a jacuzzi and fireplace at a really nice inn.
We arrived at the inn on Valentine's Day 2009. It was a beautiful place in New Hampshire. After having a romantic dinner and evening together, we sat in our room holding each other and talking. For about 20 minutes he was telling me how much he loves me, how much I mean to him, how I'm his everything and his world. We were hugging and kissing, and it was very romantic. Then he said "close your eyes" and then shortly "open your eyes." I opened them, and he held up the ring and said "Will you marry me?" I said yes, and I was shaking cause I was so happy and couldn't believe this was happening to me! :heart:
We're getting married on August 8th, 2010 at a beautiful garden restaurant in Maine. :)
