Groomsmen - black on black tuxes?

The colors for my wedding are burgundy and white. So immediately I just assumed the guys should wear black tuxes with white shirts and burgundy vests & ties. But once i started looking around online, I found this black-on-black idea and I really love it! I am just not sure if white would look better since the girls will be in burgundy & white. What do you think?

I like the black on black look; with the ties matching the BMs I think the guys would look great :)

My brothers will be the only ones in tuxes since the rest of the guys will be in their military dress blues, but we're doing black pinstriped tuxes, with black shirts, black vests, and bright red ties. It looks awesome. I really like the black on black look.

We had black on black. Everyone except my dad he had a white shirt, I knew he would want to be a little different. haha

Hmmm i am definitely leaning towards black on black..it just looks so nice against the red tie. And the FH loves it too so that's a plus! He hates this whole wedding business so anything that he actually likes makes it a little easier on me!

I love the black on black look. Initially I was going to put everyone in black except for FH. It kinda helped him stand out a little more. But I think the black on black looks so sharp, I just might change that, or reverse it even.
I get on Davids bridal website and they have a "dress your wedding" option where you can create virtual ppl and dress them. Its good at giving a visual for the whole picture. just fyi...

All of our guys are wearing black on black tuxes with red ties and vests. It looks really sharp!

My DH wore a Red Shirt and Red Tie. Our Male Witness wore a Black Shirt and Red Tie. Both had different Black Suits on. But the same Tie for both.

Either way it looked OK. I'm personally not one for everyone in the same thing.

I love the black on black look. The tie really pops and I think the contrast would look wonderful with your girls in burgundy! And more importantly, I think YOU will look even more stunning in your dress against a backdrop of black and burgundy!

believe it or not, my fh thought of our tux which is black on black. we are doing champange and red and black as oiur colors, i assumed champange vests and ties... he on the other hand picked black all around, except the shirt, which will be ivory. i think they look awesome!!

I talked to my fiance last night and he loves the idea of having just him wearing the black on black, and the rest of his guys in white shirts. It will look great! Thanks to all of you for your opinions and great ideas!

We did black on black with my hubby wearing black on white shirt/white tie... turned out GREAT! Best man had a white shirt/black tie on as well to set him apart from the other guys who had black/black... but you can't see him in this pic - he's too short :chimp:

The light you see on the guys is dusty blue as my wedding was black with blue and white accents.

I really like the black on black look. It really makes the burgandy color stand out!
