Ok, sorry if this is long or confusing. But here it goes.
I have a chronic sinus condition. Now 6 months ago I had the surgery to clean out my sinuses. Now, the speciallist doesn't know what else to do and says "lets try the surgery again." Um, no thank you. It obviously didn't work the first time.
I've been dealing with this sinus pressure and stuffiness for almost 3 months now. Nothing is cleaning it up. I'm moving on to acupunture now cause my doctor isn't sure what else to try.
Today I've had such horrible sinus pressure in my lower neck that it is hitting my nerves and making my hands tingly. Now I also have a neck injury for an accident a few years back where it messed us some nerves in my neck, so I'm sure that doesn't help either. But this is annoying!
Anyone have any ideas for things that have worked when nothing else had? Maybe some meds you have been on that have helped? I took a hot bath tonight and now am sitting with a heating pad on my neck hoping that will help a bit. I just don't know what to try any more and my doctors are being much help!

Apple Cider Vinegar! I know it sounds weird, but it's one of the best natural remedies for lots of different things. Here's some info and dosages on it.

Also, if you do try this out, you need to get the organic raw unprocessed/pasteurized stuff that has the "mother" of the vinegar in it. That's the good stuff that will help cleanse your body out. I use Bragg Organic, found it at Food Lion for $3 in their organic section. If it's raw, it'll be a darker murky color. If it's clear and light color, that stuff won't do anything, because it's stripped.

Like I said, weird, but for $3, you really can't beat it.

I am sorry you are having such problems and had to go through a surgery that apparently didn't work.

I have allergies and sinus issues, but not as bad as your seem to be. I use that nasal rinse stuff every now and then and I take Singulair. Often I still have to take like Clariton or Zyrtec too and I am still not 100%, but better than I was.

I would go to another Dr for a second opinion; maybe there is more that is causing your issues.

:goodluck:

I'l have to look for that stuff at the grocery store.
I went to the acupunture lady today and she helped to relieve some of the pressure on my neck so I'm not having the tingling as much anymore. So that's good. But still having the pressure in my head.
I am getting the allergy shots. Actually I started with this chronic sinus thing AFTER I started the shots.
Thanks for the ideas though. And like I said, i will definitely be checking out the grocery store for that vinager stuff. I'm willing to try anything!

Ohh! the Kroger verison of Zicam is pretty freaking amazing, too. It has killed off some of my asthma bouts before. o.o;
