going to pick up my dress today

So my dress is finished being altered and I am going to pick up my dress this afternoon. I will have my sister take some pictures with the lace overcoat on this time, so I can post pictures. I am soooooo excited. Yay!!!!!!

well guys i got some BAD news.



















































My dress is too big. LOL!!!! I apparently lost weight since i took it in to have it altered. So we are going to add spaghetti straps instead of having it taken in. That way if i gain a little or loose a little it will still fit ok. So without futher ado, I will give you pictures.

Thank you ladies. I am getting so excited. I cant wait for FH to see me in my dress. I two am not one for lace usually but when i tried on my dress I fell in love with it.

We are having spagehetti straps added onto the dress to help hold it up as i should have had two inches taken off the dress yesterday when i tried it on at the final fitting. However my period is due right around the wedding and it was be masacare if the dress didnt fit on my wedding day so I decided to have removable straps added. that way if the dress fits on the wedding day I can take the straps off. I did NOT want straps but i would rather have straps than to have a dress that doesnt fit. LOL!!!!

Thank you very much, the bustle is a bit sloppy in the picture but will look better on the wedding day. Lol! The darn dress kept falling down on me.

It's simply beautiful and you look lovely in it! I remember seeing this style on the DB website and thinking that it was THE dress for me (but it didn't flatter me at all). I'm so happy to see it looking great on another bride! Dresses with sleeves don't get much love.

I also had straps added to my dress! It makes the fit so much more forgiving! :) Here's hoping that you won't need them day of! :goodluck:

funny, i've seen that dress on DB, alfred angelo, and also jasmine(but that was several years ago)...i've always wondered who knocks off who lol


but it does look very gorgeous on YOU! on me, it looked strange and just out of place...i guess my country roots took over, and it seemed as though it was too much for my tastes(looks wise).....

The dress also has a train but i had it bustled in this picture, however for the wedding both trains will be down.
