USPS is releasing 2 new wedding stamps available as of May 1, 09.

Where were they when I need a pretty stamp?:irked:

I love the cake stamp! I wish it was in the 44-cent category!

i like the rings better lol.....buuut, if you have unique envelopes, the cake stamps would cover the extra 20 cents possibly!

I want to caution all the brides to be ... Make sure that you take a completed (make sure all the inserts are in there) invitations to the post office and have them weighed it before you purchase your stamps.

I bought .59 cent stamps thinking that would be enough, but it wasn't. When I took it and had it weighed I found out I needed .63 cents.:irked: I didn't even have a lot of inserts. So I ended up using my Thank you note stamps.

I had to use two .94 stamps on my invites, I under estimated what 'very heavy paper' means when I ordered them! Mine were a pretty tropical island though. I like the cake stamp better as far as a stamp but I do have to say the rings on the ring stamp are beautiful, if I had seen those when we were shopping I probably would have gotten them.

Dang! My stamps were purple with a white heart on them :irked: My invites were not white and purple. I was irked that that was all they had. That ring one would have been perfect for my invites :(

I am soooooo psyched about these stamps! I wasn't a huge fan of the old "love" stamps, with the hearts. I love these new stamps. Plus, I get to use both stamps!! I don't know if I should be excited because they are so cool, or bummed because its more money! :snide:
