So...Jason called me at work today and said that his friend's girlfriend wanted to borrow one of my cookbooks and he wanted to know which ones I had so he could tell her. Some background to this I happen to be a cookbook freak, I love them. I love cooking so much it is like my therapy. Anyway, at the time I was thinking, I don't think I can remember them all. I told him I have all of Rachael Ray's books and some other ones. He said are those the only Food Network cookbooks you have? He wanted to let the girl know this, I guess. Well I ended the call with him not thinking about it again. Well I get home and he comes walking down the stairs with a weird smile on his face and his hands behind his back. I was like what are you doing...and he held out a bag and he said this is because I love you. It was Giada DeLaurentis's new cookbook!! I love her and I really wanted this new cookbook!! I was stunned. I said is that why you were asking me all those weird questions he said yes, he wanted to make sure I didn't have this one...awwww!! It just made me stop and remember that it is the little things that really matter....thought I would share....

That is so sweet Amber. Most men wouldn't think of something like that. You better keep that one around for a while.

Lol. Isn't it wonderful to have a man that remembers the little things. That was very sweet of him.

One day I was having a horriable day and Matt comes home and has his hands behind his back, so I'm thinking YAY flowers! lol. Nope turns out it was the CD I wanted for ever but kept forgetting to buy!! I was smiling in no time.

Aww! When the Lady and the Tramp DVD was being advertised for release I told Jason when I saw the commercial once that it was my favorite Disney movie as a kid...I wasn't hinting to anything, just telling him. I came home from work one day to find the dvd on my computer chair along with a little stuffed tramp! He did the same thing for our first christmas together! We were already engaged and I had asked him once if I could get a screen for our bedroom because I've always wanted one. Well, my christmas present was a BEAUTIFUL Japanese screen and matching lamps! :)

It's so nice when you have good guys isn't it? :)

Amber that was so sweet to hear.

Nicholas is the same. Before he was here to live with me he was talking with my friend to find out my favorite flower and color. She called me and asked about the flower and then called again to ask about the color. She said her daughter was drawing me a picture and wanted to know. I tough tnothing of it. The next day or so at work I got a dozen long stem light purple roses. He is so sweet.
