What don't you like about it? Is your hair already processed? Double processed? I am a licensed Cosmotologist, so I might be able to help you out.

aww! well um have you tried playing around w/the style a bit? just remember it's hair and it grows n can be fixed :)
also, give urself time to sit w/it change can be hard if u've had ur hair a way for a long time (i.e. i chopped off my hair from mid-way down my back to just below my ears...took SERIOUS getting used to n FH HATED it... n almost immediately wanted to set a wedding date b/c he knew that i'd grow it back for the wedding LOL)
did u tell the salon u were unhappy w/the results? they'll probably be able to fix it for you. it may not be perfect but u may get to a place where you're comfortable with it...

I know they told you to wait 48-72 hours before you can wash it. But you can get it wet(no chlorine water)before then. If you don't like the 'tightness' of the curls, you can always wash it to loosen up the curl. Or you can rinse real well(to get product out) and apply a heavy ultra conditioning treatment for 10-20 minutes. I personally LOVE and recommend the Biolage Ultra Hydrating Conditioner. It will soften the curl.
I don't think the perm looks bad, it is a little to tight, but again it is right after you got the perm done and it will loosen up after the washes or the other things I listed.
I think it's kinda cute, in a sassy way.

I think it is cute too...it will die down a bit!
really?? I think its a mess..
Did you have perfectly straight hair before? Years ago I went from perfectly straight hair to a perm - yeah, it seems like a mess at first. Then you kinda just go with the flow and style it with the messy/sexxy look. I think if you give it a little while to adjust to being fried it'll settle down a bit.

Well, when I was like 13-14 my hair was that curly natuarally, then it went straight again. So yeah I went from straight pretty much to this.
i just feel like I look really dumb :(
At least it gave my hair body??

I really don't think it's bad. I can certainly see how the tightness of the curl right now might worry you, but I think it'll be ok. I think, at the length it is, it's kinda playful and fun.

i think it's very cute.....
but i'm getting the idea, the person who did it, did not tell you
a) it's going to be hard at tight at first
b)that you were going to lose length, and also that they'd have to trim it afterwards to even up the length, and you wouldn't have straight and curly ends
another way to pull the curl a little loose, if infusium 23.....i got a perm about 5 years ago, and it looked like yours...but i have a full, chubby face and it looked horrible. so i called my aunt who owns a hair shop, and she said not to wash it, but to spray water on it, and use the I23, because it would weigh my hair down, causing the curl to loosen.....but my hair didn't take it well, so i was washing it twice a day, and after about a month it all came out
the benfit? my hair REALLY holds curls and updo's now ;) lol
