Outside Wedding

I am having an outside wedding in September in a pavilion. I cannot think of any decor ideas, because it has 12 foot vaulted ceilings, and all open space, can anyone help?

Have you thought of an decorated arch and flower aisle arrangements? Those can definately decorate your space. And if you can, hanging flower baskets?

Even clear lights and tool would probably look fine during the day too! Ya know like wrapped together kind of thing.

The key is making a space within the space...tall columns with toppers that create an arch...arches like Shawna says and definetly hang things from the ceilings at different heights to make it feel more "enclosed". Use lots of tulle or ivy and flowers!

Heres a pic of what I was talking about with the tall columns, anywhere that rents wedding candelabras and such should have these...where I got my stuff at rents the 72" white colums for 10.00 ea (4 shown) and the Colonnade Arch for 90.00 (the arch and then the 2 side top pieces.

We had planned an outdoor wedding (weather got in the way) but my thing was, if it was outdoors...nature would do the decorating for us! However, if you're in a pavillion, maybe some tulle or ivy and some christmas lights (if you have electricity) wrapped around the pillars would be pretty. I'm a huge supporter of the beauty in simplicity theory, so I think that would be really gorgeous! :)

Im with Kelli. We did have ours outside and nature did most of the work. I understand wanting to spruce things up a bit. Flowers, candles, lights and tulle work really well.
