Okay, I want to get my hubby a weight set and bench for his birthday, but I don't really know much about them and I kind of want it to be a surprise. Could anyone help me out? Give me some tips...I figured I'd check with you guys, maybe one of you or your FHs/DHs are into it and would know where to steer me! Thanks you guys!

I dont know how much they are, but Brian has researched that BowFlex Extreme and wants one soooooo bad. He said the price isnt bad at all (he just didnt tell me how much), he just doens have a place for it right now.
If you were wanting to save money and didnt mind 2nd hand, you could check with area gyms and ask what they do with their old equipment. They usually update pretty often.

The gym idea is a great idea! I know Jason doesn't want a boflex because he really wants actual metal weights...no plastic parts or coverings, etc. I looked at Dick's website and it's not as bad price wise as I thought it was going to be! But it's up there...I'll definitely check the area gyms though...great thinking!

I'm not sure on the quality but how about Walmart?

Thanks Becky! By the way, HI! I thought about Walmart, but most of those are online only, which means I'll have to pay for shipping...I cannot imagine how much it is going to be to ship 100 lb weight set! :)

Hi to you too!!:D

That is true I didn't think about the shipping. It would probably be around 100 bucks. Sometimes you can have things delivered to the store for free though, you never know.
