i really love halter dresses. here is my cousin's wedding dress. she wore it in 1996, also a halterneck! :o

now that i think about it, weren't halter dresses considered provocative back then? i mean even baring the shoulders were considered shocking, never mind baring the back. the 90s were mainly short and long sleeve dresses. she must be very daring to wear an open back wedding dress back in the days.

here is my cousin's wedding dress.

Your cousin looks a lot like you! :)

BTW - I wore a halter dress to my high school grad in 1980.

I wore a halter for my wedding in July '08. I LOVE halter styles - they're more flattering on most than any other style IMO. I think your dress is gorgeous and you wear it well.

So pretty! I think the halter shape is beautiful and flattering on you, and I love the low back!

Now that I think of it, my aunt who married in 1990 (I was her flower girl - 7 years old, but I was always super-tiny for my age), and she had long leg-o-mutton sleeves! It's funny how much things change in only... oh wait, that's 19 years ago. It seemed like only yesterday, though...
