Flatware/silverware - forks, spoons and such

Some call it silverware, some call it flatware and who knows what else in other areas of the country/world ;)

I just thought it would be fun to share what kind you have.

I like simple modern things, so we have a brushed silver set; it is not super expensive, but it is not cheapy either. I think ours is something like this -

We "inherited" a set of Oneida flatware--Louisiana pattern. My aunt had bought an entire set for my grandmother. Before my grandmother had a chance to get it, she was placed in a nursing home. My aunt still had the set brand new in the box and asked if DH and I wanted it.

Ours is Farberware.

It's what I would call middle grade. Not really expensive but not really cheap. It was a house warming gift from MIL.

I'm not sure what ours is. I do know we have two kinds. FH had a bunch of his and then I bought some cheap stuff from Cub when I moved to my apartment before moving in with him. We don't have anything fancy... and we didn't register for china. We're not really fancy people...haha. :)

Ours, I believe, is Oneida. I know it was bought from Walmart... it's a brushed pattern - very simple and sturdy. I love the simple and sleek silverware - easier to clean and to use!
