Hi,

Seeing as we didn't see it mentioned in here anywhere else, thought we'd throw out an idea for your beach wedding.

We often include a sand ceremony, or sand unity ceremony, where the bride and groom each pour sand into a keepsake glass container as the officiant says a few words, such as:

Bride and Groom, today you combine your separate lives. These bottles of sand symbolize those separate lives. They represent all that you are as individuals. As these containers of sand are poured into the large container, the individual containers of sand will no longer exist, but will be joined together as one forever. They can never be completely separated again – just like your lives from this day forward.

It is a beautiful touch and makes a great photo opportunity (and it is much easier to pur sand than to try to light a candle on the beach!).
