The reception as a whole for sure.....out of everything divided up....the food is going to be the most expensive thing.

The reception by far. We got married on the farm so that saved us money. We had our reception at a higher end hotel and it cost us that's for sure! lol

Our reception bill was the highest but it included ALL of the food, all of the alcohol, all of the specialty linens, the chocolate fountain, the martini bar bill, the wedding coordinator, the cocktail hour musician, parking for our guests, and I'm sure a lot more. However, the bill was still way lower than anticipated.

Our photography was what took almost half of our entire budget! I just didn't see spending all that time and money to have beautiful things if I didn't have beautiful pictures to remember it all by! :)

The reception as a whole will run us the most. Dividing that up, the food will cost us the most.

We spent more ont the honeymoon than the ceremony and reception combined. But we didn't have a traditional wedding.

My most expensive thing was our clothing. My dress, Nicholas' Tux, Jessa's dress, and Dean suit. Plus I bought the dress and the suit forthe flower girl and ring bearer. After that it was the DJ. Every thing else that I spent money on was the decorations. The food was a gift, the photos were a gift, the hotel room was a gift, the flowers were a gift. The hall was only $100 and that was where the ceremony and the reception were held. If I had to look at every thing and figure out what was the most expensive I'd say the photographer. But we didnt pay for it.

We will be having between 150 and 200 ppl so feeding everyone has been the most expensive even with catching most of it on sale.

Definetly the reception. The reception hall we are using though includes decorations, food, drinks, cake, and little details like mints, nuts, etc. So the nice thing will be the wedding day we won't have to think about any of it. We are also tossing in an extra $1000 for alcohol.

We put the most money into the honeymoon. Mostly cause it was the one that the we got total say over and can do whatever we want, whenever we want. Next would probably be the reception food. The hall is free so that's a plus!

Reception definitely... most of my wedding stuff will come in under $3500 for the photographer, ceremony, dress, and ceremony decor... the reception will be a little over $16,000... HOLY COW!! and apparently thats cheap for this area... I'm a budget bride!!
