whats my deal?

my fiancee and i tried for a few months after i moved in with him TC and nothing so i got back on BC and like many of u have said the pill makes me feel sluggish and 'not in the mood'. Its getting really bad we only 'you know' about twice a month and we're about to get married! I know he gets really frustrated with me. im scared that i will still have the 'dont wants' when we do get ready to conceive. why dont i want to sha-boinka?

I've been there. Once the BC was out of my system I was back to my randy self again. FH noticed a difference when I got on BC because I went from "Now? Now? Now? How about Now?" to not wanting a thing.

It sucks I know. Especially when you KNOW that it's not YOU. Also add wedding planning and the time THAT consumes! And work... and anything else you do... there just aren't enough hours in the day to recoup AND get in the mood.

I wish I had a fast solution but I don't. once I was off of BC it was better.

see i thought thats what it was. but for sum reason he cant comprehend that its me not him kinda thang. it sux. i have to be on bc til im done with this other med that i cant get pregnant while im on it cuz it has birth defects. urggh! but u are exact-a-melly right moon dust!!

can't u just be sure to use another form of protection.. i.e. condoms or something if it's affecting you like that?

so long as u actually USE them lol the chances of getting pregnant are actually the same or lower than BC

If the medicine she's on is Accutane, for acne, then she can't just use condoms most likely. With that med, the chances of birth defects are so high, that they say only one dose can cause them. And you have to sign a document that you are using at least 2 forms of birth control. And they give you pregnancy test you before, during and after the use of Accutane.
Btw, this is just from curiousity reading on my parts. So some may have better knowledge about it.

I took accutane a few years ago and PP is correct. They are really strict about how you MUST use 2 forms of BC. I know with my doctor, he said one could be condoms but the other had to be a form of perscription BC.
You do get blood drawn every month. A pregnancy test as well as checking a few other things (one is liver I believe.) After you finish the meds they say you need to wait at least 2-3 full cycles before you can get pregnant with the possibility of birth defects.
Sorry I don't have any advise on BC to help boost your sex drive. I had the same problems with most forms of BC.

yep thats right i have to use 2 forms of BC and swear every month that im using them, take a preg test every month, answer questions online before my prescription is filled and have blood work. Pain in the booo-tay! But thats the price i have to pay for clear skin. Oh and I have to have collegen relaxer injections done too! The accutane has bad side effects in itself.
