I think I've narrowed down my choices.....

So I'm trying to decide what cabinet knobs to put in my kitchen. I need single hole knobs, and 4 two-hole drawer pulls. I'm leaning towards one of these two. I can go rustic, or 'finessy' looking.... I don't know the word I'm looking for.

I really like the cowboy boots in the rope knob, and I really like the horse/rooster knobs. I need 12 knobs, so I can order 2 sets of 6.... one of each as far as the horse/roosters go and mix em up, or I can go with the bronze knobs.

Whaddya think?

I'm going to be different...I like the cowboy boots! I like them just because of the curtains you are doing. It seems more western to me, but that is just me! :)

BTW - I have those same hideous white handles in my bathroom :laugh: Sadly, they still sell them....LOL

Isn't buying stuff for the house fun and a little shocking? I don't know about you but I was surprised to find out the prices of some things.

We are currently trying to outfit our back room with curtains and I can't get over the prices! If the price of curtains isn't bad enough .... the cost of decorative rods is worse! I think the windows are going to have to go nude for a while longer :rofl:

I would chose the horses if you were going with a cleaner sharper look and the boots if you were going for a busier look. I really like both though!

I think I'm leaning towards the boots. Matt likes the boots better, and they'll go better with the color of cabinets I have right now. I can't order them for awhile though :irked: Our cruise set us back a lot farther than we thought it would :urgh:

I love hearing all of your advice though! It helps me get new outlooks on what we can do with our kitchen!

Now I'm not sure I'm going to do anything! Matt's cousin works for a contractor's supply place and he gave me the inside scoop on a blowout about to happen. OmG we're talking about $100 for an 8' slab of granite! And he said they're blowing out some cabinets too. I so gotta go take a look. I just might get my kitchen redone a lot sooner than I thought :)

I have to get my taxes amended before I can even start with it though. If we get the full first time homebuyer's credit, then I'm *so* putting some towards remodeling my kitchen. I have a whopping 2.5' of countertop right now and I'm learning that it's just not cuttin it.

I agree - you can never have too much counter top!

I went to get my taxes amended and the lady said she could do it for me but it's $160 out of pocket - she can't take it out of the credit because it's going to be done by paper, not electronically. :irked: So I have to wait about a month before I can afford to do that. I know, for $8k you'd think I can come up with it LOL. We'll see how bad payday hurts us (we each took 3 days off for the cruise).

FYI: It turns out I needed 15 knobs and 12 pulls... so I wanted ones that matched since knobs wouldn't work everywhere. So the nicest ones I could find in my price range (under $2 each) were these. And I love more and more when I look at them! I ordered them just now... so I can't wait till they get here!!!
