Well i just had a talk with the ex wife about the upcoming b-day this weekend. i believe this can work. i know to keep my eyes and ears open, but she made the comment that we could all be one weird extended family of sorts. she said first to me that she is glad we all get along for the kids sake and she only thinks of my husband as a brother now. she said i have my regrets and that is all. so this could work out and i agree it is best for the kids that we all continue getting along and talking about things. just wanted to let everyone know what happened.

well the grandbaby wants to go out and play now. so off to the trampoline we go.

I think it's great for the kid's sake if you can all get along like you said. I said before that Justin comes from a divorced family. His father and his step father get along great. They don't hang out or anything, but they enjoy eachother's company when they are around one another.

I agree! I am glad things worked out good for you!
Not only for the sake of your step daughter, but it will hopefully be one less burden for you!

YAY...I'm so glad! Have fun on the trampoline!

P.S. Momma always told me to keep my friends close and my enemies CLOSER!

My best friend has a blended family. When you go to any of her 4 kids birthday parties you will normally find, her immediate family: mom, brothers, brother's girlfriend, grandparents, aunt, uncle, and cousins; her huband's immediate family: dad, stepmom, grandpa, sister, bil, and niece; myself and Sean; her other really good friend and her daughter, then her ex husband's mother and father and sister (her ex is an a-hole but his parents babysit her 4 kids after achool and traet them all like grandchildren eventhough they are only biologically related to Haeleigh)

Everyone knows that they are there for the kids and to have a nice time. THere has never been a problem. It is really nice.
