I am hoping for some advice on the guest book. I am planning to order an 8 1/2 x 11 photo book from shutterfly as our guest book. For those of you who have done this, I was wondering how many guests typically sign on each page? I figure 1 of every 3-4 pages will be blank. We are figuring approximately 200 guests, I was originally planning to do the 20 pages that come with the book until I realized that would be about 10 signatures per page! Seems like way too few pages.
Thanks ladies!

I'd try blurb.com instead of shutterfly. It's still easy to use like shutterfly - just upload your pics, but they have templates meant for guest books, so there are already pre-designed signature pages. It's usually one page of signatures, facing one page of pictures. The books are typically under 40 pages total and are pretty reasonably priced for hard-cover storybook style books. You can also get dust jackets.

Good luck with your wedding planning!

I have never used this site, but I like this idea better :)

I am not sure if this will help you figure out how many pages you might need but it's been our experience that about half the invitees will actually sign a guest book, photo matt, or signature platter. Typically, one spouse signs for each couple and some people don't sign at all. All this to say, if you are inviting 200 people, you should expect about 100 signatures/well wishes.

I have printed books at blurb.com and the hard cover books are great. The pages feel like glossy pages of a book you may see in a bookstore. Just make sure you have the proper marker for the signatures.
