How much of the wedding planning are you doing?

I thought it might be interesting to see how much of the planning we all are doing.

I'd say about 50%. My mom has kind of been taking care of everything for the vendors. She booked them all and has talked to all of them about what we want. I took care of getting our new reception site though. And then all of the decor, attire, flowers, that kind of thing I took care of on my own.

even though mine is done and over as you all know, i done everything myself. and quite honestly wouldn't have done it any differently. but our wedding was not a large affair either. if so i would have gotten help with it. but at my age i am stubborn and set in my ways and did not want anyone's help with it. both jerry and i knew what we wanted and we didn't give anyone a chance to try to change our minds. while we asked for some assistance with shopping no one tried to change things for us. just helped by saying which flowers they liked best and such as this.

I have done all the planning myself but my mom has put in tons of help with the DIY projects. (oh and the money);)

I did 100% everything myself from researching vendors to to tying ribbons onto bubbles. Hell, I planned my own engagement party and bridal shower and ended up paying for those too. If I didn't do it, it wasn't going to get done. I knoew exactly what I wanted and how I wanted it. Other people would have just cost me time and energy that I didn't have.

I would say I have done most of it on my own, my FMIL has helped but most of the time we didn't agree on what was to be done or she had other ideas and it only caused me stress and aggravation and then I ended up doing it my way anyway. My MOH (my sister) tied bows on bells, wrapped candy bars and pretty much screamed at the top of her lungs when she was over here (IT'S HER WEDDING LET HER DO IT HER WAY)...and she's making my cakes (wedding and grooms) and my garters, and has been there every step of the way to listen to me rant and then calm me down! I booked the reception, chose the food, booked the honeymoons (short and extended one) and ordered all the gifts, deco and so on and so on...and completed a ton of DIY projects. So there isnt and 80% choice but that's what I feel like...

My mom and I are doing everything so I voted 50%. She is doing 50% and I am doing 50%.

We did 95% of it. I say we because Matt and I had equal shares in planning the wedding. He actually booked the reception venue, organized the JP, booked the florist, booked the photographer and so much more. He did the booking and I did the decorating and the fine details, like what we wanted for flowers, table centers, etc. We had very little help from either of our families because (a) their ideas sucked
(b) They made us mad
(c) they didn't like what we wanted but it was OUR day

So we did it ourselves. I basically also planned my own bridal showers and bachlorette party. Who can you depend on other then yourself? No one really!! lol

I have done about 75% of the planning myself. J has helped alot with the biggies, but said that I can plan it however I want!!!!!

I chose 100%, but I would say probably 99% of the planning I have done on my own. I am sure that somewhere along the way I got some help from others...well and of course all of you guys have been very great and supportive!!!

My sister and MiL helped with a few things, but the actual planning was 100% on me.
