Soo... I've had two bridesmaids that have held off on ordering their dresses. I've been trying to stay calm about it because I know their money situation is tight for both of them. My sister just went and ordered hers today and the estimated arrival date is July 10th!!!! They said they don't always take that long but ahhh! And I'm not sure if the last one ordered hers, but I'll see her tonight.
Fortunately, we did pick out a dress that shouldn't really need alterations; I'm hoping. Luckily, for the one who ordered hers super early; they did actually place the order. I just got an e-mail today saying it's there. So she can get hers altered in time. But otherwise... that's quite scary for the late-orderers! Grrr!

Wow - that's a tight squeeze! Hopefully everything will be in with plenty of time to spare...but "yikes" does sum it up, huh?? :)

Yup, it does! Makes me wish I had been a bit more :icon_barbar: and a little less :innocent: when it came to them ordering ...haha. I was under the impression it wouldn't take that long for them to come in, I think.

Don't worry it will all work out. Just stay calm and don't stress over it. I can remember when my sister's wedding date came closer, she was freaking out to, but in the end it all worked out just fine. Hang in there girl!

I know how you feel - both my girls ordered their dresses finally last night - it was kind of stressing me out since it's something that is out of my control but I think they said 3-4 months. Maybe by the end of June so thats plenty of time.
Hopefully they just give a bit of a longer date as a precaution. But I'd get on your other girl to order hers ASAP!
It will all work out though!

Just curious, but did you happen to order from David's? I ask because when I ordered my BM dresses, they told me 6 weeks. I had all four dresses ten days later. Here's hoping that yours come in earlier! I'm sure it will all work out, but def. make sure the last girl has ordered hers.

Yeah, I also ordered from Davids and they gave me a big timeline as well, and the dresses came in about 3 weeks later instead of the 6 weeks they told me.

Oh, that's funny... I had a friend who ordered her bridal gown from DB a year in advance thinking it would take a few months and she called me completely freaked out less than a month later because her dress came in and she now had to figure out where to store the dress for a year!
While I agree you might have relieved yourself of some stress if you had been more of a bridezilla earlier and demanded that the BMs order their dresses, I'm sure it'll work out OK. Heck, I had my BMs get their dresses back in August, yet here I am now with 75 days until the big day and searching for a new dress for one of the girls because she "LOST" her dress! :irked:

I guess I should clarify. I mean it only took 3 weeks for the dress to come in not 3 weeks longer. Sorry!

I so feel your anxiety. I had the same thing with one of my bridesmaids. She waited and waited so flipping long. It comes in April 5th!!!!!!!!!!! They say it will be ready by the 10th. Lets hope so.

How do you lose a dress?

Yup, the dresses are coming from David's Bridal. They told the first girl that her dress would take 6 weeks, and it was longer than that. She ordered on Feb. 6th, and it came in on March 27th. Fortunately, the third girl did order hers already, about 2 weeks before the last one did. So at least none will come later than July 10th...
