Absolutely any woman appreciates a fine strand of elegantly designed pearls. They're eternal, elegant, timeless, and suitable for almost every occasion. Just think back to your favorite old movies; most leading ladies adorned pearls at some point in the movie.
Pearls are the only gemstone created inside other living creatures. Natural pearls are grown without any human intervention when a speck of sand or other irritant lodges itself inside an oyster. Deteriorating environmental conditions have rendered natural pearls all but obsolete.

Pearls are super pretty. I'm not wearing them on principle though. I'm getting married in June like 5 or 6 days after my birthday.

And the colors are so varied - from black to white to pink and more....
Part of the reason I'm also a fan of Opals - each one is so unique and you can see so much just by staring into it...

Your post sounds like an ad....
When I found out that pearls dissolve in red wine or vinegar, I decided they are not for me. I'm too clumsy in life to wear them, and I have too many chemicals around me. Sure, they are pretty, but timeless? You can't have them exposed to sunlight for too long. Suitable for every occasion? It really depends on how delicate your life is.
