Does anyone have a source for reasonable rose petals? I found a website with 2000 petals for about $45. I also saw some websites with 3000 for $144! :bbeek:

I got my petals from Hobby Lobby during a half-off bridal sale. It made them $4.99 a box. They have several colors. I don't know how many are in a box, I looked but the box doesn't list the number. There are a lot in there, though and I couldn't beat the price. I remember someone saying recently that Dollar Tree has red and white ones. Not sure what colors you need, but I know you can order in bulk from their website. Also, check ebay, I know I have seen 2,000 petals for less than $45.

I got mine at Hobby Lobby 50% off as well. Michael's also has sales and coupons quite often.

I got mine at the Dollar Tree around Valentine's Day and they were $1 a bag for 300 petals and they had red and white. I am tea staining mine so they look ivory. If you check their site, they have red, white and pink ones on there.

I need real rose petals. We're getting married outside and I'm not about to pick up 2000+ silk ones! :)

Try your local grocery store. We were going to get my Krogers left over petals for $5. =P

I'd also talk to your local florists about saving rose petals for you.

I just got some on ebay the other night - 1000 of them for $12 something. Free shipping!

what website did you find them for $45? I would love to know. I've been searching for rose petals and have found 3,000 for around $150

I found them at freshrosepetals.com, but now it looks like they're $54. Weird.

I ordered my real rose petals through www.flyboynaturals.com (http://www.flyboynaturals.com) and they were awesome! They even have a budget bride section and all sorts of colors to choose from. They are dried, so if you want them to be soft, you open the bag the day before your event and put them in a steamy bathroom. I can't say enough good things about this company!
