Ok, the wedding's over, I wore my beautiful, perfect dress, that I did NOT want to take off :( and now it's all done. It didn't get too dirty, just on the bottom, obviously. We will be doing a TTD late spring/summer. So my question is, should I bother getting it cleaned, or just wait till after the TTD, if it's possible to be cleaned after that?

I always advise my brides to wait until after the TTD session to have your dress cleaned and sealed. It's usually a wasted expense to have it done in between, and a good photographer can "clean up" your dress a bit anyways in Photoshop... :)

That's what I thought. The bit of dirt on my dress isn't noticeable in pictures anyways, there's that little of it.

Let us know how your TTD shoot turns out this spring! I love those shoots - some of my favorite ones to do since everyone is much more relaxed and you can get really creative. Where are you doing the shoot?
BTW, how is married life treating you? Settling back to normal now that you don't have wedding planning to do every weekend?
All the best,

TrashTheDress :)
You can either completely trash it, like walk into a pond or roll around in mud or you can just walk around with it on after your wedding and get it dirty. Either way, it's still called TTD even if you are not completely ruining the dress.

Mine is still folded up (ok, rolled up) in the back seat of my car! hahaha I'm not even doing a TTD - but I pretty much did anyway. I'm going to have it perserved anyhow - even though it got trampled all over Vegas and ended up in a Denny's at 4 am.
