How many people are you inviting to your wedding?

I know that there is a huge difference on the number of people that each of us is inviting to our weddings. I thought it would be interesting to see a poll on how that would look.

We invited over 200 people. Almost everyone that Sean and I , his parents, and my dad invited showed up. But we still only had 179 people show up because 90% of the people my mother invited (her entire family) boycotted.

Well my guest list is about 260 peeps. We will see how many actually show up.

I wanted between 50 - 60 but it looks like it will be around 70....

It was supposed to be only like 100, then it bumped up to right around 155 and now we are pushing closer to 200.

I invited just under 100 but I know by the time everyone bring their guest (whether I wrote guest on the invitation on not) it will be closer to 120.

We didn't do formal invitations, but the guesstimate is about 200 at the wedding and 150 at the reception (if more come to the reception they can stand and watch the rest of us eat...alot of people from our church said they won't be attending the reception because (oh how ghastly) we will have MUSIC and DANCING!

Oh geesh I'm going to hell...Imagine that! ROFLMAO My response to that was "I have special music in the wedding, so if they are sooo offended by music they can keep their pretentious arses at home the whole **** day!"

we will invite 150 person my fiance see that's so much but we can't reduce it because if we cancle some people they will be upset from us .

So far our invite list sits at 315! Some are babies and little kids that dont count in the cost of food. But holy cow thats a lot of people!!!

Yep but believe it or not, that is the cut list... there were over 800 people on our lists...

We invited a lot of people but our wedding was essentially a destination wedding since almost everyone we know lives at least 2 states away. Throw in the fact that most of our friends are newlyweds, students, or new parents and we didn't have as many come as we would have liked.

We're inviting about 75. That number is mainly FH's family and friends. All of my family and friends live in Louisiana and most of them can't make it. :(

We had around 250 in attendance and invited about 350.

We're inviting between 125 and 150...hoping to get 125 there, so we'll do like the A and B list thing. We'd love more than that, but catering is SO expensive for a kosher wedding that we're limited if we want to stay anywhere near our budget.

we are actually sending out invitation for around 200-230 people but we have went through and looked at who will be comming and who won't so we will be around 150 for the reception!

I voted in the 50-100... wasn't sure which I'd be in, as our wedding hasn't happened yet.

We invited around 90 and I think the final count is going to be at like 80, which is perfect for us!
