We are SO BAD.. But hey, like my friend says.. We are stimulating the economy! :winktongue: Anyway, we had to get a new couch. Our old one was falling apart.. And would never make it down the stairs. Well.. It didn't when Steve and Dani's hubby carried it down, lol. The bed part of the couch wanted to escape so badly..

Um.. Yeah. We got a new couch!!! There was a really good sale at Garener White.. :innocent: I figure though, it will help us with our credit (i put a little over half of the cost on my credit card) and we'll slowly be building up so that when we can eventually afford a house, we won't have so much to pay for at once..

Oh! and another good thing.. It makes my apartment feel more like home! *^^* I cleaned all freaking day on Friday after putting this sucker in. Its so nice around here now. <3 Now Steve just needs that job.. lol

Whitewater: Actually, the base along the bottom and back is leather (or leather-like? lol) and the rest of it is cloth. I didn't wanna stick to it in summer!! Heh

The best part?? It was only on sale for about $785... So all together with tax, the protective spray cr@p, and getting it sent to our apartment and put together (the next morning! O_O ) it was only $1,008.08. Which is a lot of money for us.. Hence why we split it up, lol. But thats super cheap for a couch!!! We went to a bunch of other stores to price check different ones.. But my heart was set on this one.. It was cheapest and best anyway, lol.
Now, i just wish i could afford to get a lazyboy chair before THEY go out of business near us.. ::Sigh:: I think i'm getting greedy!

Nice couch! Looks so comfy. I need a new couch so bad. I just use whatever couch someone donates to me. But the couch material from the 90's always seem to collect so much pet hair. I need either a leather couch or microfiber couch but so far, no one has been willing to donate one of those to me! lol I'm hoping we can use wedding money towards a new couch.

I, too, love your new couch! Ours is a microfiber with a chaise lounge on it, too. I wouldn't give it up for anything! Plus it's so pet-hair friendly!!!

I agree!! Steve was so worried about cat hair and the couch, too..
Though, we did have to move that sucker closer to the wall. Mellows thought it'd be a good idea to try and jump from the back. No way in HECK i'm letting her little back claws in that thing. :irked:
