Newly Engaged.!

I just got engaged and am planning on a winter wedding in February of next year. I know its a long ways away but i want to have a lot of time to enjoy being engaged and not have everything fall on me in the end. So far i have come up with either a dark red or a light blue. I want to have the ceremony outside and the reception inside. I live in Utah so snow is pretty much guaranteed. I am not to sure on to many specifics since it has only been 2 days since the proposal but i want to start now so i have a lot of time to change things if needed. Any suggestions on places or foods. I am not doing a full course meal or anything big. I plan on doing small snack foods. I am not sure on how many guests at the moment but i'm trying to set up a budget but need to know a couple ideas on food and such before i start with the bigger things.
