So I feel like I have been working on my aisle decorations and favors forever and they are finally done. I went though so many different ways I was going to do them both.
My aisle decorations

I bought the flower balls premade since I could not find a less expensive way to do it but them added in the little gold pieces you can kind of see. They are actually holly berries used for Christmas wreaths. I am going to line the aisle with this I think one every other row of chairs. Can't make up my mind if I want to string ribbon or tulle between them or leave them separate.
My Favors, sorry the first one is so fuzzy these are from my cell phone

These are full of little pineapple shaped hard candies. I changed my mind so many times on the favors but my fiance said he really wanted to use wax seals for something so this is what I came up it. I used that stuff that just goes in the glue gun and I think it came out looking pretty good. Not positive on the guest count yet but I made 100.
I am just excited to see I actually got this stuff finished.

The wreath stands have a decorative pointy top so I just cut little a 'x' in each pomander and jammed it on then twisted. You could pull them off if you tried to pick it up by the flowers but they are pretty sturdy.

Where did you get the wreath stands? Were they overly expensive?
I've been trying to decide on decor for the front of the church and thought this might be a good idea. Showed my parents the pics and they loved them too and thought the idea for the front of the church would work well too.

I got pretty much everything, except the hollyberries, from save-on-crafts. I think they cost around $25 each.

Are the wax seals gold?
We are doing wax seals for some stuff for our wedding and I can not find gold glue sticks for the life of me. So ive had to try and use the regular wax.
anyway,
Your stuff is beautiful! I love the aisle decorations!

omw, those aisle decorations are amazing!! I've been looking for something that really appealed to me and those are it! Mind if I steal your idea? I'm so excited now! Are the flower balls on top white and red? I noticed the link you posted was green and red, but they look white in the picture.
Thanks so much for sharing!

i have a westie!
He is actually just a very large (probably mixed with something) maltese. His ears are cut really funny because my papillon like the chew on the long hair on his ears while he is sleeping and they get all matted up so he is not looking very maltese-like right now.

Don't mind at all, I am excited people like them so much. I did use the green ones but they come in white and pink/red as well, green just works better in my venue. They were pretty easy once I made up my mind on everything.
wow nice job!! how much did they come out to be if you dont mind?
Around just under $25, so not the cheapest thing but I can't imagine I could have bought something similar for that price.

Wow, your aisle decorations are GORGEOUS!! I'm doing something very similar - I'm making kissing balls and hanging them from shepard's hooks lining the inside of the aisle. I never thought to put tulle around the hooks and I think i'm going to do that now! (it looks really pretty that way!).

Do not really have a tutorial but they were actually pretty easy. I got the flower balls pre-made, http://www.save-on-crafts.com/orchidball.html , these matched out colors and flowers best although the white ones are nice as well. The little gold accents, that you can hardly see, are christmas wreath holly-berries attached to a floral pick. You can find the berries in craft stores sometimes and the picks were just from walmart. These are the stands I used http://www.save-on-crafts.com/ironstand.html , you can see the photo at the bottom I kind of got my inspiration from. Then it is just gold, or any color, tulle on the pole part.
I just put a few of the picks with holly-berries in each flower ball, I think 6. Then took a knife and pushed in the the flower ball twice to create an 'X'. Lined the 'X' up with the point on the stanchion and just pushed it on, twisted a little to make sure it wouldn't move around. I used 6" wide tulle and tied 7 pieces to the top of the stand just under the flower ball so that they hung down, then tied them all together around the base to make it look a little cleaner.
Not sure if I explained it well but it is not hard at all. Most difficult part was finding the supplies.
