You will have a lot more experience, but you will also have many more aches and pains than you ever thought possible. When I was 20, I never understood why old people walked like they do. I know now, because I walk like that after I have been sitting down for a while. I get up and I can barely walk, I'm so sore! LOL!! I do wish I could go back knowing what I know now, and do it over again. C'est la vie!!

My knees have been doing that since I played high school sports!! lol. It's the worst sound in the world. The same with my ankles too! Yuck! And my back, oh man that's a whole nother story!! lol

You know, Treasia, some people age really well. For me, I hurt so much that I can't really be a good person to ask. It sucks and I hate it! I keep thinking if I feel like this at 50, what am I going to be like at 60? I'm in big trouble!! It's an awful thought! Thank God, I can retire at 56 years old. My official last day of working in my lifetime is 6/13/12. I can't wait!!!

Ir isn't all that bad really ... it's mostly just one knee and really when getting up from a squat.

But things have definitely changed since I turned 30 ;)

If I over do it, I will have muscle aches, but other than that Im doing pretty good. Still have everything too, appendix, gall bladder, tonsils, etc........and I will be 33 this year.

I get muscle aches every now and then too ;) I still have everything too ... well I have my adenoids removed when I was young.

My sister is younger than me and she has had her appendix and gall bladder removed. She had appendicitis when she was about 14 I think ... she had her gall bladder removed a couple of yrs ago, when she was pregnant with my niece! I think she had gall stones or something. My mom also had her gall bladder, though several yrs ago.

Nope, and that's probably the first time in my life that I'm not the youngest! :) I had to have permission slips faxed home to my mother the first semester of college because I was only 17. It was fun trying to explain the sorority permission slip to my mother...

I am 30 will be 31 in Dec. My husband just turned 28 a month before the wedding. I also have alot of pain and it scares me. I dont have the natural arch you have in your back. You know when you lay flat on your back you should be able to slide you flat hand under the bottom of your back. well I can't and that causes alot of pain when getting up from sitting to long or from bed. But my hip is the worst. When I was born I had a dislocated hip and the doctor didnt catch it or he could have just snapped it back into place and I would have had no problems. Well I grew with it for about 3 years before the found it. So I was in a body cast for a while and had to learn to walk all over again when I was 4. I tell ya I am glad I dont remember any of that after hearing the stories of it all. But now I am in alot of pain. I had it looked at about 4 years ago. My hip socket is not like a cup shape that it should be it is more like a saucer. And the ball joint is about 3 sizes bigger then it should be. I was told that I will need a hip replacement. But he said that becasue the hip is artificail ( sp? ) that after about 10 years it would have to be replaced and the next one never takes as good as the first and so on. So I am to wait as long as I can deal with the pain. No excessive weight gain and no contact sports ( there goes my football carreer lol I think the Pats. needed me to lol ). It doesnt matter if I sit stand or lay if I do it too long I am in pain. And there are alot of times that I just take a step and I feel like it is going to give out on me. I have learned to live with it. I hate taking anything for pain but if it gets to bad I take something. I want to go get it looked at again just to be sure it is not worse then it was. BUt I also am trying to get pregnant. I know weight gain. But I want another child. So as soon as I get that child I will then take care of it from there. So you talk about what you will be like when your 50 or 60? I am scared to death what I might be going through. BUt I get through each day one day at a time by not thinking about it.

I echo what Shawna said Gwen! That sounds awfully painful! I have a tipped hip bone, which causes a lot of back and leg problems and may cause problems with giving birth, so I can only slightly imagine what the pain is like! Best wishes and good luck with trying for the baby!

Gwen, I had all my pain after I had gotten older (40+), and after I had already had both of my children. I feel really bad for you because you're still young and still want to have more children. Best of luck with everything, and I'll keep you in my prayers!

I didnt expect all these comments. But I want to say a huge thank you all. I am dealing with it. My ex hhusband used to get after me because it is my ( what we call ) my mother hip ( the hip I hold not only my children but any child I hold on ). My mom has informed me that no matter what kind of condition she is in ( she has to have back surgery yet again ) that she will be at my side when this happens.

I am holding out and taking it easy. It is scary to think about but when I have to very active kids it is hard to sit still and dwell on it. I am spending my time doing all the normal things any mom would do with her kids. Once in a while I have to take it easy but not usualy. I just cant walk a long way at one time. But then neither can my little man. I call him poky and he says I have short legs mom. LOL Ya gotta love 'em. Again thank you all for you concerns, thoughts, prays and comments. They mean alot to me.

Oh how cool! Hello there fellow Leo. My birthday is also July 26th...only I was born in 1978!
