What sort of dress did you/are you wearing?

I'm not really sure how to describe it without just describing it, if that makes any sense. I'm thinking it's more traditional 'cause it's white and wouldn't stand out as a dress of the late 2000's in the pictures when people look at them in the future.

I went with 'sleek and sexy' even though my intention was more formal and elegant. I was at my dress fitting last week standing next to all of the other girls and realized that it was a lot more sexy than I has previously thought. It is a strapless mermaid style dress and I am a bit curvy, love how it makes my waist looks tiny though.

Hmm...I guess mine would be modern/traditional. It wasn't too over the top modern but it had modern elements to it. It was ivory and had pick-ups.

My dress is late Victorian inspired! So, in one way it's traditional, but in another way, because I'm making it myself and designed it myself and so on, it's really quite modern. I'm given to understand that designing your own wedding dress is a very modern concept, in the 'everything old is new again' kind of way.

I guess I am being a control freak about my dress, but that's the one thing that Fiance felt extremely strongly about -- he wanted me to have the dress of my dreams, and he wants me to look as beautiful as possible. So I'm gonna do my darndest to make his wish come true!

None of the current styles thrill me. There's something really wrong about each one I've looked at, and none of them will look right because I'm way too short. So, I'm making my own!

I hope he likes it.

I wasn't really sure what to say, so I voted for classic/traditional and formal/elegant. It's formal, but not over the top, and it's ivory with some beading and a fairly long train.

I wasn't sure how to vote, but classic/traditional seemed the closest fit. When I was wedding dress shopping, I wanted to be the bride I envisioned as a little girl - big white princess dress with sparkles and a train.

I voted Modern/Traditional because my dress is a strapless ivory dress with pickups but has a turquoise colored sash. I think thats where it best fits.

I went with Modern/Traditional, I'm not sure how others would describe my dress.

I picked traditional but I guess it has pick ups on the back that might be considered a little more modern? Not sure.

I picked traditional/classic.

Its white silk, sweetheart neckline with some beading, corset back and detachable cathedral length train that is all lace and beading.

I choose Formal/elegant ... Honestly this is only the 3rd formal gown I've worn in my life (that I remember), and I pray that it's elegant because that's exactly what I was looking for. lol

I chose sleek and sexy and other. Mainly, because my dress is a sleek and sexy bridesmaids dress. ;)
