I love the circus! Except the clowns. I don't like clowns or mimes or Tammy Faye Baker Messner for that matter. Basicially I have a distrust of anything that wears more makeup than I do.

She does actually look like a clown too. After I found out that John Wayne Gacy was a part-time clown, I was sort of distrustful of clowns too.

I heard that Tammy Faye was pretty sick with cancer. I also heard that Patsy Ramsey died too. I knew she had cancer, but I didn't know she was that sick.

It is always great to ahve something to look forward too. I do more for my kids then myself but Nicholas and I ahve a date set for July 8th as well. One of my customers at the bank got us Montgomery Gentry tickets for a wedding gift. I told my boss about it and she got us Center Stage Buffet tickets. This is explained at this site....... http://www.meadowbrook.net/ . It is an outside concert venue here where I live ( well the next town over). I have been there a few times. I saw Meatloaf 2 yrs in a row and I saw Brooks and Dunn. And one year I sw an 80's rock fest hat had Warrant, Rat, Dokken, and Fire House. That was an awsome concert. Well there is more and more contry music coming each year. The 2 tickets ( and they are awsome seats I might add ) were like $130 or something. I think this was the best gift we got lol IMO. Sorry to take over your post Karen but I know what it's like to have something you cant wait for.

See, clowns are evil, enough said. I mean what are they trying to hide under all that white make up and red noses? And , just how do they get packed so tightly in those little cars? They have evil powers, that is how!

That should be fun Karen. I love the circus. The first time I was proposed to was at the circus. He had an enormous rock, but I had to turn him down because I was only six, and the clown (literally) that proposed was about 40. I think the age difference would have been difficult!! haha!

Karen I am glad that you have something fun to look forward to. After Amber's wedding you should find a club to join or maybe you should do some volunteer work or something. There is so much out there and you need some "Karen things" to do.

I was never scared of clowns bc my mom had a porcelain one I'd always play w/ when I was little! I do admit live ones are act. kinda freaky sometimes! My mom gave me that porcelain clown yrs. ago and my hubby can't stand it! He gets freaked out by just looking @ it! LMAO! He's the same way w/ china dolls and the porcelain look a like babies! He says it's really creepy!
N e ways, this pic just sends chills up my spine! (John W. Gacy in his clown costume.)http://s67.photobucket.com/albums/h293/sugaravery23/th_150px-Johnwaynegacyclown.jpg (http://s67.photobucket.com/albums/h293/sugaravery23/?action=view&current=150px-Johnwaynegacyclown.jpg)

Ok Christian that was just horriable!! I am in the same boat as Lacey. THe year before our wedding we went to a Canada Day Parade and this clown was coming up to me, I actually pushed children and people out of my way and I was practically crying as I was trying so hard to get away. I tell you, my mom, my brother and I all have problems with clowns. I'm not sure why, but I think part of it for me is that people aren't ALWAYS that happy and so I feel like they are fakes and liars and I'm scared they would hurt me because they aren't good people under all that make up!! I'm afraid I may pass this fear onto my children as well.

My BIL hates clowns. The big tall guy in my weddin gpictures? That man has an issue. He will stand back off the road during a parade as to stay away from them. It is amazing how many people hate clowns. I hear it all the time.

I've never been up close and personal w/ one, and I really don't think I want to! I would be trying to get the :censored: out the way too! That's true, we don't even know who some people are w/ out makeup on, little lone caked on w/ some freaky smiley face! I think I should do a poll who is afraid of clowns bc I know more people who are then are not!

I just want to share with you guys that we absolutely loved the new Superman movie, Superman Returns! What a wonderful movie!! I had some trepidation about someone actually taking over the Christopher Reeve role, but this guy was awesome!! He takes over that role, and you believe he's Superman really quick! They cast him really really well!! We were glad it was an unknown actor, because we thought we would be able to accept him better that way. But Brandon Routh is so good at being Superman, that you have no problem with it about 30 minutes into the movie. It starts slow, and it's a fairly long movie so be prepared for that, but it is just so sweet. It comes out in the theaters on Friday, June 30, and Amber & I can't recommend it enough!!

And I just heard that the critics love it!! Even though, sometimes you can't base a good movie on that! LOL! Some critics opinions are awful!! But this movie rocked, Lacey!! Sean will love it!!! And you will melt every time Brandon is on the screen. He just has such magnetism, which is so good when you're playing Superman!! LOL!!
