Woah did anyone see the blog post on Italy? http://www.onewed.com/blog/savvy-scoop/2009/03/13/destination-italy-beaten-track-honeymoon-adventurous-couple

Wouldn't this be a great honeymoon?? Even though I have already had my honeymoon I would LOVE to look into Italy for an anniversary trip someday down the road.

Anyone ever been to Italy? What do you think of the itinerary that they suggest? I think it seems like a well thought out itinerary. Also it looks like if you book with them before July 2009, and you mention OneWed you get 20% off, so if you are looking for a honeymoon abroad you might wanna think about Italy :)

I've always wanted to go to Italy and thought it would be an excellent honeymoon place. But unless we win a big lottery in the near future, it's not gonna happen. :( It'll still be first on my list for travelling to another country if we ever get the chance.

I sooooooo want to go to Italy, but we can't afford it. :(

But we're crossing our fingers that when DH gets back from his deployment, that they'll have orders for him available to go there. Then we could live there for 2 years. Two of his friends and their wives were just moved over there in the beginning of February. They love it. I wanna go too!! LOL

Like Tina Fey says in 30 Rock, I want to go to there. That would be a wonderful honeymoon. We had our's in Vegas and it was fun, but Italy, that would be an awesome trip. That is one of the places we want to travel to in our lifetime, maybe for our anniversary or something. It'd be so romantic!

EEEEE, I'm so happy for you! How exciting! :ura1:My Grandparents were from Naples, but I haven't done any European travel before... probably because I can't stand flying from CA to NY, let alone Europe!

You said it's a cruise? How many days does it take to sail to Italy?

I have been to Italy!!
Rome is amazing. I would also recommend going to see Pompeii and Herculaneum and walking around the ruins there.

If you have time, by all means GO TO SICILY! Taormina is a gorgeous city. Just be careful if you take the ferry from Naples as there are a lot of pickpockets there.
