Has anyone seen tire bark/rubber bark in person? I've seen pictures/video and so far I LOVE it! Not only is it eco friendly, it looks great, it doesn't decompose like real bark, and it's low maintenance.

Yes, it's pricey from what I hear, but I'm totally interested in putting this in at our new house! I don't like the red - but it comes in different colors. I'd probably go with the gray.

I can't find any decent pics of it online - anyone have any better pics??

TIA!

I have heard of this, but never seen it before.

They use it at several of the national parks around here. It is kinda flat, not fluffy like real bark. It feels spongy to walk on.

From the research I've done in the past 10 mins... I've found that it's quite common in playgrounds.

They use it in Playgrounds in the UK too.

We have the normal Tree bark in Our Garden. I never thought of using it Myself at home.

Tyres also make great raised flower beds too. Turn one inside out and put it on top of a stack of tyres. Paint it any colour You want. Fill with earth, shove a flower in. Ta-Da! instant Garden.

Make great herb gardens for the kids to do.

It's used at the parks around here. It's really good in places like underneath swings and monkey bars to make for soft landings, but it tends to want to spread out and run away so they have to build edging to keep it in. Or I guess they'd just keep having to replace it.
